How can I ration toilet roll??

Astounded by some people/families using less than a Loo roll a week. Is that because everyone is out of the house most of the time? Do you buy extra big rolls?
I get whatever's on offer/bulk buy at Costco, yet we always go through a roll a day. No matter the brand even Andrex lasts about a day.

And in nearly 2 decades I have not had to call a plumber out to blocked toilet. Have had it blocked of course, but if your willing to get your hands dirty you don't need plumber for that.:cool:

And never have I thought of rationing Loo paper, because I use so much myself to feel clean, I would not want anyone rationing my use.

How many people in the house ?

Two of us in the house -one out all day but I work from home -I rarely need to change it more than once a week and that's not consciously being careful with it

4 adults, and as I am part time, I am home a lot. The other 3 do different shifts and are home as and when, but still they are home for 8 to 10 hours a day.

Men rarely use toilet roll?! This man does, us men poo as well and plenty use loo roll after a wee to 'dab!' House of 2 adults and a baby and we use around 4 rolls a week on average.

I just stock up on 12 rolls at a time for around £3 (when reduced) and shove it in the bottom of a wardrobe. I despise running low/out of loo roll.

Can't really understand people rationing it. I know it's a moneysaving site, but we're probably talking £1-2 max if you buy something reasonably priced!

I think the kind of people who claim they only use 4 loo rolls a month, are the same people who claim they only spend £25 - £30 a week on the entire shopping bill for two people. I have actually seen people say that on here. :rotfl:

We do both of those things, easily. Oh, and the £25 a week covers two people and a greedy cat.

Must be very wasteful in my house, I buy loads! I went shopping last Thursday, bought a 9 pack, there were already a few left upstairs and they had all gone by Sunday I had to buy more, there are four of us live here, one male and 3 females

I just plain and simple don't believe it. Unless these people are NEVER home, or they only sh*t once a week how on EARTH can they use 4 loo rolls a MONTH?! I call bullsh*t!

You're right, both OH and I work FT and LO isn't potty trained totally yet so we are hardly there....hence 4 rolls per month!!
