Take a rectangle of 2 sheets of paper and fold in thirds. You get three layers of paper in a neat package, easier to hold, just the right size. This is how many people manage with just 2 sheets at a time - it works!

OP is obviously very caring towards the little girl, taking her feelings into account.

I've been experimenting with different amounts of roll, inspired by this thread (heaven only knows why).

I have found I cannot do with less than four sheets of Tesco toilet paper. But I will give this method a go and report back. I'm intrigued as to how people manage with one or two sheets - it disintegrates in my hand and I may as well just use my bare hand and then wash it! Getting lots of little shreds of loo roll in your lady bits is not nice :(

    Not TOTM:

    Wee: 3 - 5 sheets
    Poo: 5 - 7 sheets

    Folded, not scrunched.

    TOTM:

All bets are off. Up to 12 sheets.

This topic has made me :rotfl: and at times . The comments are sometimes soft, sometimes strong, and the thread is very very long.

I've seen a couple of good ideas here to reduce my younger son's usage of paper. Last time he and his brother were around for the weekend, a whole roll went in two days - and we were out for one of them! He does seem to have a few 'issues' around toilet habits so it's a topic that's already been on my mind.

I haven't checked my usage but I reckon if I lived alone all the time a roll would easily last a month. I 'go' whenever I need to, probably more often at work than at home, and I think there are 220 sheets on a Tesco roll. From there I can do the arithmetic...

Incidentally, picking up on a tangent earlier in the thread, my grocery bill averages about £35 a week. I know this because I'm anally retentive. Which ought to help with the toilet paper consumption. ;)

Oh well I am a male, 25, Live alone and I buy the nice soft quality quilted stuff and a pack of four rolls lasts me a month. I go usually once a day although sometimes if I get naughty and have some dairy it can be three or four times.

I am VERY fastidious when it comes to personal hygiene and I do not believe that anybody can only use two sheets of toilet paper for a dump!

I usually wipe with a stack four sheets, and about 3-4 stacks, then a couple of moist wipes. :)

People with skid marks just knock me sick.
