Just counted eleven sheets used for a number two. Was average type don't think I would ever use less but definitely often need to use more.:D
Two sheets may be enough if you only break wind!:rotfl: This threads evolution is cracking me up.
Love that this thread has got everyone counting & checking! I used my normal 3 sheets when I went this morning. Out of curiosity, I then grabbed another two for another wipe to check if I was missing anything (this thread had me wondering) and guess what - paper came back clean. And no, there was nothing on my hands either.
I buy whatever is on offer at the time I need to stock up; often it is just Sainsburys 'normal' rolls, at the moment we have Andrex normal rolls.0 -
Me and DH definately do not use one loo roll a week. FAR too little. maybe 3 or 4. Especially when it's my time of the month!
Having a word with said child about using a lot and it blocking the loo is OK, but rationing them and making them just have 1 to 3 little sheets is ridiculous. And as for using 1 sheet a pee and 2 sheets a poo; that is absurd. :rotfl: It seems almost like it was in days of old, when rationing used to happen.
Out with the bread and butter and trifle, and dripping sandwiches.
By the way Little snuggy ^^^ sounds like a good name for a loo roll. :rotfl:0 -

I always put down a couple of sheets so that I don't get splashback on my own loo (let alone public ones). My loo is cleaned often (and it's just me, mainly), but I hate splashes on the underside of the loo. A couple of sheets down first, avoid that.
With regard to the wipes, these are the flushable Andrex ones. I use one at a time, or one per flush, and probably once a month. Nevertheless, I appreciate that the poster made the comment, not just for me, but in general. I had already mentioned that I regularly flush down the loo with my bath water, so several buckets of water will go down. The drain problem may not even have been of my doing as it was related to the main drain.0 -

I am a big fan of toilet wipes to be perfectly clean. However, I have recently started to keep a pump bottle of lotion by the loo and after wiping I put a squirt on some more paper and clean with this. Seems to work as good as the 'nasty' wipes.
