I was always taught the rule: One square for a wee, Two for a poo, if you need more God bless you!
Perhaps it depends on the quality of give toilet roll?
To be honest, I have never thought about it, before this thread lol
People use what they use.
LinYou can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.0 -
Hm this is an interesting thread. It's something I have never thought about but I think I am a criminal waster when it comes to toilet paper, I tend to take a lot more than needed I think. I just feel better that way, I'd be scared of using a small amount... oO0

Better safe than sorry, and buggar the cost......

I knew someone once who would literally wrap their whole hand (front and back, like 9-10 sheets) in loo roll *per wipe*, several wipes per visit. Blimey.0

I am greatly blessedIn the interests of research for this thread, I ccounted how much I use. Seven sheets a visit. Maybe I buy rubbish loo roll but any less than that and it just disintegrates and leaves me still wet _pale_

Are you serious? :rotfl: ONE square for a wee and 2 for a poo?! EWWWWW!!! You would have it all over your fingers. That is VERY extreme. I don't ever remember toilet roll rationing, thank goodness.(•_•)

Errr, no you wouldn't. I always use 2 and 3 sheets respectively and the majority of the time that is perfectly adequate. If I need more, I'll get another 2/3 sheets. Can't say I've got anything all over my fingers, either.
Two adults in my house; I work from home and OH is out 9-6. I'm not sure how much he uses, but on the above basis I probably use around 10-15 sheets per day. We have two bathrooms and I certainly don't change a roll any more frequently than fortnightly.0 -

Some common sense at last. :rotfl:
Two or three sheets is more often than not ample. I changed my roll today so will be interested to see exactly how long it does last.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

If you are worried about blockages, teach her to flush mid wipe as well as at the end. I use about half a roll a day. I have no idea how a couple could use 4 a month and still be clean.0

I don't know what toilet roll you use, but no WAY is two little sheets of loo roll enough. I have never had any toilet roll EVER, in my LIFE, where I have been able to use only one or two of the little sheets. For a wee OR a poo.
I think people are taking the p1ss. :rotfl:(•_•)
