If I was being bullied at work like this, and HR were not taking it seriously, then I'd be posting my CV on all the job sites.0

Either get something like a cash-tin, with a lock on it, keep your lunch, in a bag, next to you, or just go out and buy a sandwich at lunchtime.
HR won't get involved with this, I wouldn't have thought.
LinYou can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset.0 -

It was a joke, and why can't you buy coolbags mid-week?0 -
do you have cctv in your office?
All the "jokes" aside, this is a criminal act now, someone has stolen your personal property. I would email hr advising that they should be doing desk checks ASAP otherwise you will be calling the police.
It may seem trivial to some but the op is being directly targeted & her property has been stolen on work premises.I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

She did all that, they went to her desk and pinched it when she popped to the toilet. And why on earth should she spend money on shop made sandwiches because someone thinks it's funny to bully her?
I sincerely hope HR would get involved in such harassment and victimisation, if the HR officer won't he/she shouldn't be in their job. It's gone way beyond someone pinching a little bit of food.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

I sincerely hope HR would take stealing seriously and get involved.
It's appalling to think you wouldn't think they would at your work place.
Someone's glasses case went missing at our work and a complete investigation was done, including cleaners.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
I spoke to my boss today about what's been going on as I couldn't concertrate all day and HR wasn't in so nothing could get done. Once again my whole lunch was taken
. I really thought I would catch the person today as my friend rigged up a small tub of pringles so when the lid gets removed it plays music but I heard nothing as they took the blooming lot.
My boss said I must let him know anytime I leave my desk tomorrow and he'll watch the fridge. Fingers crossed they get caught soon.
It's sounds stupid but I've found myself getting low, distant and scared when I look at my co-workers as I don't know who to trust or if someone is going to try and seriously harm me.
I've spent hours thinking of every individual I work with to see if I can think of a reason why someone's targeting me and I keep coming up with nothing. It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -

Oh yvonne, that's just an awful situation. At least your boss is aware of the extent of the issue and will be looking out for you. Fingers crossed that this idiot is caught red handed and soon. What a !!!!!!.0
