Who's eating my lunch????

Rig your lunchbox with an alarm - like one of these. Stick it with something like these so that the unit is stuck to the bottom of the box and the string to the top. When the box is opened fully the alarm will alert the whole office to whoever it is.
Just don't forget to pull the cord off the lunchbox lid if you have to open it yourself
. I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

I hope your joking because I'm not laughing......Not only was my chicken taken today but everything !!!!! My full lunch, my tupperware, my ice pack, my cool bag even my blooming water.....I am so ****ed of at the moment and HR had a cheek to ask me if I forget my stuff at home !!!!
OMG that's dreadful
I can not believe someone would do that!!

Taking pieces of someone's lunch is bad enough, but actually taking the whole thing, containers and all..what a bloody cheek! Unbelievable.
I would be absolutely fuming! I'd have said something after the first couple of times it happened really, but now it just takes the biscuit! I would talk to HR again and reiterate that it is unacceptable, it is theft and you will not tolerate it. Talk to your manager and say you want something done about it or you will send an office-wide email yourself, and plaster the office kitchen with notices. Talk to anyone in the office who will listen and make sure they know you have talked to manager about it and it is being taken extremely seriously. It's verging on bullying now, as you are being targetted.
Urgh...some people are just unbelievable. I hope you resolve it!0 -

Yvonne, if all this was taken from under your desk it's something far more serious than just someone stealing food.
They must have know exactly whose food they were taking, to then go and seek out where you left it instead of the fridge is victimisation, they're not doing it because they're hungry/have no money, they're doing it to deliberately upset YOU.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
I had this happen to me a few times - so I told the biggest office gossip that I was a bit run down and had a cold blister coming... Funny how my food or coffee or anything else stayed put after that. Turned out the girl taking stuff was caught late one night stealing catering boxes of biscuits.Current debt and mortgage: £25, 820.35 Debt/Mortgage at start: £92,598 (27/09/2010)

Exactly. She is being blatantly targetted. It's theft, and it's verging on bullying/victimisation. Something has to be done at a higher level here.0 -
