Jeez I`d be fuming!!
I will have everything crossed they are spotted and caught in the act.
It must be someone who is near your desk and can easily go unspotted.DebtFree FEB 2010!Slight blip in 2013 - Debtfree Aug 2014 :j

We have over 60 staff per floor in a 3 floor building. It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -
It's just shocking. At first, I thought you were just unlucky someone picking at peoples lunches in the fridge had a taste for your cooking! Now its just clear they are bullying, I wouldn't be surprised if they were just throwing it away.
Its worrying that they are clearly watching what you are doing. You shouldn't have to do this, but if you don't want to buy lunch at work, could you ask the canteen or your boss to keep it aside for you?
Im wondering, you mentioned only one person knew and she was on holiday. Could it be that it was initially a one off, she has mentioned it to someone who just has a nasty streak thought he/she would play a prank but is strangely getting kicks from this now?
Id like to think, if it was a group in on it, by now at least one of them would have had an attack of guilt. So Im leaning towards a nasty pathetic individual.
The worry is also, as other have said, if your lunch isn't there, will they find something else to take just to watch you get upset?
It is theft, and bullying, and the person responsible should be dismissed. Do keep pushing it, its gone too far now.MFW

I hope not the tupperware alone cost me over £5 and I still have the reciept so I'll be taking that in with me tomorrow too. It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -
I'm sure you've already thought about this, but I'm just wondering, have you perhaps got a promotion over someone else, or rejected someone's advances, or have an item/thing/car etc that would make a colleague jealous of you?
It does sound as though this person is getting some sort of thrill from watching you discover your lunch has been taken, be it from the fridge or from your desk. Sorry, I don't mean to freak you out by saying that.
I have read the whole thread, but I can't remember reading if there are other lunches in the fridge not being touched. Obviously though with such a large workforce in one place I imagine there is.
Good luck tomorrow Yvonne.0 -

It's knowing that someone is watching me that's making feel ill.
I told her the day before she went on holiday as I doubt she would have told anyone as she was in holiday mode all week. It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -

Nothing's changed for me so people shouldn't be jelous. Wait.....hang on....sorry yes there's a girl from the first floor I'm training up to do my job when I go on annual leave, do you think someone in the office could possibly be jelous of me training someone up? Actually forget that I think this is personal and about me hence no-one elses stuff is touched. It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -
she may have mentioned it innocently, 'poor Yvonnes lunch got taken today, how rude is that, she was so hungry bless her' - that kind of comment, possibly the thief themselves overheard - would have felt a rush of power at the thought of you being upset about it, spurred them on to do even more when you acted on it - almost like a control thing.
It makes my blood boil just thinking about it.
Do you work in a team, are you on a 'pod' of desks, or are you at your own desk? There's no one that could have seen it happen?
Someone hovering close to your desk around that point, or if the culprit is on your pod/section could have walked round discreetly without raising suspicion.MFW

Maybe I can't say for sure so you might be correct.
