It goes both ways though. Someone who might be the right person for you might not be available now (so seeming not right) but might become so later.

If judging initially who is a right person is how deeply one falls in love then you know there isn't just one of them for you.

No, I don't wonder what you saw in HIM, I wonder what you are seeing in YOURSELF that makes you worthy of this and to be such a vessel of grief. Has it become habit over the years for example, or is it the vibrancy of feeling, the two emotions are extreme, maybe the middle ground is alien to you ( to be clear I am not being critical just suggesting, this latter is a fallback of my personality so an easy one for me to propose, )

I'm not quite sure what you mean, by 'vibrancy of feeling', LIR, can you clarify?

I don't know what it says about me.

But I do wish that I could feel better.

All the more reason not to cut ties completely but in your case Tay he'd need to come up with a damn good explanation.

    Mmmm.. I'll try.

    Better than feeling .....nothing.

Not suggesting that its willful to feel bad, or deliberate. Just....a certain type of nature to feel things keenly or to find balance harder. For me I don't think I am especially sensitive, infact I know I'm not, I just find middle ground hard. So the latter, balance, applies.

Thanks, Judi. I know in my heart that there probably isn't a good explanation. But (and it's hard to admit this) a tiny part of me still hopes that there is.

Do you think though that if he contacted you now with an 'explanation' that you would be hearing the truth or his version of it?

Would you trust him (or anyone else in the future) to be honest?
Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j

I know. My friends say that, if he did contact me, I'd probably just be prolonging (and deepening) the inevitable hurt as he would likely let me down again.

It doesn't stop me wishing that he would. Or that I could turn the clock back.

Sorry, I know I'm not thinking straight at the minute. :(
