Will do the positive things thank you

Thank you for the advice, sadly there is no way on earth a second hand sofa will pass my door - i got one and it was full of silverfish!!!!!!! Took ages till i stopped finding the little blighters. Its made me reluctant to try that route again. Im on a mission now to get a sofa so the saving starts here (well as soon as ive fixed the car...)

Even john lewis do a great budget range and they really last!
  • I would never have considered JL always thought they were expensive.

But now i have a dilemma - tv or sofa? My tv has now decided to start packing up! Why do things break in threes? First the car, sofa technically does its job but its not comfy anymore defo on last legs and now the tv is buzzing all the time and the picture is green. Everyone looks like a martian.
  • I think my house will literally fall down one day with how hard next door slam their flippin doors. Schools should start to include how to close doors as part if the curriculum round here.
  • Ouch just taken some paracetamol - got a blinding headache withe door slamming.

    Positives

I will not live in this house forever

They will not be my neighbours forever

My son made me laugh, he is in bed for seven but nothing gets past him. He has just been asking if im eating toast.... Why does my child not sleep? We have a routine of bedtime stories in bed same time every night, hug and kiss and i leave the room. Still he never sleeps!!!!
  • Its a beautiful day and all my windows and doors are shut. Still doesnt drown out next doors stereo.

I am not going to be living here forever,
I am not going to be living here forever.

    Must keep reminding myself.
  • Am i the only one that thinks its abnormal to put your three seater leather sofa on the pavement to enjoy your can of beer on a sunny day? You have to walk on the road because the sofa takes up the whole pavement.

The positive is they are not in the house slamming doors, they don't have the TV on loud.

  • Wow id forgotten all about meatloaf - thank you for making me smile.

I am so impatient for payday to come along so i can chip away at those debts (sooner the debts are gone sooner i can save up moving costs). I dont want to wish my life away, i am happy with my life, just where i live that is the problem.

I sound like a snob now anc im not honest, but i just dont belong with these people!
