Assuming those 36 Malwarebytes found issues were removed...
1. check for unrequired programs installed (by accident)
WINDOWS key +X
Programs and Features
Click on "Installed On" Column and tell us anything that's been installed since you got the laptop. e.g. if JollyWallet is there you can zap that straight away
2. reset browser settings as linked to before

EDIT: and if its a new laptop and you're not getting anywhere next step is "windows 8 referesh" which I'll add in a moment.

That sounds a good idea0 -
Restore it back to factory settings and start over again. This time, checking that you are downloading genuine programs.
Go to Settings from the Charm bar (top right corner mover cursor down). Click on 'Change PC setting' - Click on 'Update and recovery' - Click on 'Recovery' - Click on 'Remove everything and reinstall Windows'
As you have only had it a few days, I'm assuming you don't have anything you want to keep on it yet.
If you have choose 'Refresh your PC without affecting your files'.
Ah Missed that Grumpy had already suggested this....:o:o.:DDrinking Rum before 10am makes you

Not an Alcoholic...!0 -

I haven't got an update and recovery option0 -
Lenovo may include a utility to help, eg. (if this doesn't help tell us the exact model number).
To restore the system partition:
1 Press the Novo button to start the Lenovo OneKey Recovery system.
2 Click System Recovery. The computer will restart to the recovery environment.
3 Follow the on-screen instructions to restore the system partition to its original status.
Note:- The recovery process is irreversible. Make sure to back up any data you wish to save on the system partition before starting the recovery process.
- The recovery process may take a while. So be sure to connect the AC adapter to your computer during the recovery process.
- The above instructions should be followed when Windows can be started normally.
1. Shut down the computer.
2. Press the Novo button. From the Novo button menu, select the Lenovo OneKey Recovery system and press Enter.0 -

Shall we start again lol0 -
No, forget about any updates. (If the Lenovo Novo button doesn't mean anything see Rumrats posts).0
