It would be satisfying if this case were not simply dropped like a hot potato by PE but if they could be brought to book over it in some way.
Naturally the main concern for the OP and all on here is the removal of any further stress to the target of PE's flimflammery.
    cheers

In an ideal world whoever it is/was at the walk in centre who contracted the parking company should be held liable for this mess ( if the above is all true) , as well as the employees of the parking company.
People need to realise what they are doing when they allow a PPC to operate on their land. After all the parking company are acting for and on behalf of the car park owner and with their full permission.
As mentioned previously anyone who allows a PPC to operate on their land should know what these companys are and what they get up to, its not as if they are a new phenomenon theres plenty of evidence out there. and if you do let a PPC loose on your land then their ( the PPCs) actions are your responsibility.

Similar from "Fed Up Pete" over on Legal Beagles....
icon1.png parkingeye - cant believe it!!
My partner and I, along with my 87 year old parents had been out to lunch last Saturday 5th April, upon heading home my partner began to suffer a bad stomach ache, she was not going to make it home. We pulled into a small shopping area of about a dozen shops and a pub, I drove around the entire area, the car park was completely full, I now had to stop somewhere! There were perhaps a dozen empty bays to the side of the buildings, I pulled in and helped my partner quickly to the pub toilets, leaving my parents in the car. We left the area 13 minutes later.
I have now received a parking fine of £60 [£100 after 29days] from ParkingEye, they threaten to "recover any unpaid part of the parking charge". They threaten no legal action, should I pay the charge, I find this so unfare as we stopped only for 13 minutes and for a genuine emergency!!

Can anyone please advise me what to do?

    Thanks

One would have thought PE would have learned their lesson from the laineee case ... obviously not.

    Absolutely disgusting!

Still considering what to do to PE and The Range for their unlawful conduct in harassing and suing a disabled person when they agreed to cancel the charge.

We could always complain to Disabled Motoring UK . On second thoughts they have sold out to the private parking industry and are a BPA member . In addition, DMUK describes people who post on these forums as "parking terrorists" . So no help there then.

I don't suppose the inclusion of the founder of the Range being in the 100 billionaires list would influence you? :-)
