It was an age renew serum that was offered as a "free gift" for completing an online survey. In my case it came up when I was looking on Skyscanner but I now think it's nothing to do with that site and is just a pop up set up to con people!

I’ve checked the confirmation email from when I ordered the free one and NOWHERE does it say that it’s a trial and you have to return it/cancel! They’ve sent me a cancellation email going forward but haven’t replied to my continuous emailing about refunding the money they’ve just taken! And I’ve told my partner to refuse any parcels that come for me but in their “terms and conditions” (that I obviously didn’t see or agree to) it says they don’t process parcels that are refused for refunds and you need a reference number from them, which I’ve asked them for but they haven’t replied. It’s flipping ridiculous. Obviously the product itself isn’t up to much if they have to trick people into buying it! Flipping RUDE!
I'm usually so skeptical and sensible about things like this but I was in a good mood and just thought "where's the harm?"

Hi, I sent for the 30 day free trials in November 2014, and 2 days after receiving them I received an email saying my time was up and they were going to take money out of my account each month for the creams,as an ongoing purchase, I emailed them right back saying I had only just received the cream, no way had I had it for 30 days, I cancelled it there and then, not had any problems so far, I think I was lucky though as I had cancelled within two days good luck hope you get it sorted x
  • the past three weeks have been horrendous in trying to deal with these people. silly me send for two seperate ads and got two "samples". first amount taken out was 79.95 but i had the full amount repaid to me on 18th february. second amount was 84.71 and it was harder to get infact im not getting a full refund but 62.00 back. i could have held out for the full amount but it was worth the 22 quid to get rid of them. they dont seem to like the thought of bad publicity. i said about taking them to court, contacting the newspapers and also bbc watchdog. i had to say i wouldnt pursue any of them if they refunded me which i agreed to (:rotfl: :A).

dont give up people hard at it is keep at them. they refused to refund anything then it was 17.5% off then 35% off then 50% off and i caved at 70%. thought it was better to get 62 quid than nothing.

good luck to everyone else, lesson learnt i wont be clicking on any more offers!!!!!!!

This scam is still going on!
I have also been caught out.
Paid £1.95 plus £1 postage for trial and was debited two weeks later for £89.71
I rang the company and an American lady said it was in the terms and conditions that if I didn't cancel I would be charged a further amount.
I have no knowledge of these terms and conditions.
My bank is looking into it for me and have raised a visa dispute.
any one else had any luck with a refund??
  • I have also been caught out, I phoned today and cancelled and i also got a £62 refund that makes a loss of £115, I hope people see this thread before getting caught like me.
  • After numerous e mails and very rude repkies from customer services, the lastone was that we wouldnt prevail, I reported them to trading standards who are looking into the case but also nagged and nagged the bank that as it was an unauthorised payment they should repay the money. Today £89 was returned to the account. The first payment has been lost so far though. I also printed off all the complaints from this site and will never accept a "frree gift" again

If you need to enter your card details for the free gift then its not free is it.
  • I entered for the free trial of these products. I paid 1.95 each for shipping. Just yesterday, I noticed my account has been debited for £67.28 and £65.96. I contacted my bank they said they can only cancel further subscription but can not refund the money. The bank gave this number 08002494323 too contact the company. The 1st customer service said I should send the product back to them. After posting the products I contacted the company, the guy I spoke to said there is nothing like trial products that the money is actually for the trial products.
Has as anyone encounter this?? Please how did you resolve it?
    I need advise please....

I to have been taken in by the Free Trial offer! I contacted my bank today because £95 was taken from my account! The bank told me that they will refund any further payments from http://www.equinoxflawless-serum.com/contactus.php but they also said sometimes its easier to close my bank account completely! I am so angry with my self for being so naive! I have contacted the company to cancel but i dont have any faith that this will work!

Was looking at this, thinking its only a couple of pounds but thought I would investigate first as I usually do.

Presumably this stuff is about as good as anything else on the market? Us women eh? When will we learn, we are beautiful just as we are. Lesson learned here. :T
