I'm sure you already think this, but don't forget to say it out loud to Mrs E that you think she's doing a great job being a mum. Sometimes being told what you're doing is appreciated is priceless, especially when you're overwhelmed in a sea of sleep deprivation and nappies.0

Yep I second that, lots of praise for mummy skills needed.
2 more days and you will be sat in your lovely new home, albeit surrounded by boxes to unpack, but with a whole fresh start ahead of you all.
You are doing great though, well done0 -
Excellent news.
Don't know how you've managed to pack working 10 hour  days, selling a house, buying another all with a child under 6 months, to be honest. Frankly, I dread to think what you'll be able to achieve over the next ten years.2018 totals:

INOD: That is seriously cheesy. Do any women in real life actually like that kind of stuff? :rotfl:2018 totals:

The guarantee of two hours peace and quiet to soak in a bath, read a book, etc can sustain people through the toughest of times. Through in a mini bottle of wine and there could be a Juliet mark II on the way!Mortgage at 01.01.14 £119,481.83:eek: today £0 Emergency fund £5.5/5.5k & £200/200 cash.:jWeight 24/02/19 14st 7lb now 11st 12lb determined to stop defining myself by my mistakes. That's a lovely idea. Maybe lavender smellies for the bath. When my two were small I found taking a quiet bath, with candles and beautiful music was an absolute joy.
Good luck tomorrow Mr E. Another exciting chapter is about to start.

Ed - you and Mrs Ed seem very organised and stress-free. Here's hoping the move and unpacking of boxes goes just as smooth for you both.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Budgeting & Bank Accounts, Credit Cards, Credit File & Ratings and Energy boards. I think the idea was golden INOD. Just one problem - no bath! :rotfl:Through in a mini bottle of wine and there could be a Juliet mark II on the way!
Note to self, *don't* provide mini bottle of wine, not ready for DD Mk II!
We are buying for an older couple and they've replaced the bathroom with a natty shower room.
A full replacement is one of our first jobs.
Thinking:- White ceiling (is there another option?) Warm white LED downlighters, we have these in our current flat and love them
- Travertine or similar floor to ceiling tiles, a vertical strip of opalescent mosaic tiles floor to ceiling at sink (think muted mother of pearl)
- Cook and L3wis bath we liked (it has a 'boxy' shower surround that looks a bit like a shower cubicle in a bath, IYSWIM?
- Sink and toilet
- Hansgr0he shower and taps
- Heated towel rail
- A small amount of built in storage under sink/near window (see what a joiner can magic up)
Sound ok?0
