Buff? Is that the same as running the last bit of paper off the toilet roll across any bits with marks/noticeable dust? :o

:D - I've done this - and then realised that the chrome is then covered in minute bits of toilet roll dust :D

Get a huge long towel (or several) over it - just leaves the very edges to occasionally buff (with one of said towels!) :D

Mrs K reckons she wouldn't be interested in the 2 hour bath. Not sure whether that's to do with the fact she'd rather be doing something else or due to our late '50's green bathroom suite, though.

Can't quite believe you're already planning to work on the house you don't yet live in. Far, far too efficient.

As for kebabs and UPVC .... I always thought the former was something done once when very, very drunk and too young to know better and that no one could be drunk enough to think UPVC a good idea. ;)

Do you have a new diary PB? :)

Not yet. I'm too cream crackered doing the necessary to start one, much as I need it! :rotfl:
Mrs E in a bit of a funk - seems overwhelmed by DD + packing. Anything I could do to buck her up bar providing chocolate? Currently working 10 hour days + all errands + more than my share of the packing being done already, so feeling stretched a bit thin

I vote for a big, long hug in the middle of the boxes and reminding each other that you are doing UNBELIEVABLY well and that it will all be over soon and you can flop on the couch together soon.

Haha - we're replacing a green bathroom as well! Not sure Mrs E could manage two hours in the bath either, she gets a heat rash if the shower is too warm :D

Another £140? lent out on P2P sites over the last couple of days. I have now passed two mini milestones (over £5k lent + I have passed my target yield, currently at 7.23%). The yield is rising as the effect of buying some loan parts at a premium fades. On the negative side, I believe that my first loan is currently late to pay (a £12 exposure).

Hey ho, with junk loans comes great flakiness ;)

Planning on putting £5-10k of our emergency fund into less risky P2P ventures as the seed money for an eventual extension of our new place.
