On that note, I'm baling out of this month now. I got paid the other day and all my money has been allocated, I've had an expensive one due to car and buggy repairs grr and I won't achieve anymore SFD this month!
Bring on next month which will be enforced frugaldom due to my op and a few weeks laid up!Squirrelling away in September No 33It's not about the money, it's about financial freedom, being in control of it and living in the natural world and not a material world0 -

VERY quick post as I'm late for a haircutMy paypal balance is paying for it so it's free (right?!)
Spend day yesterday due to beer and popcorn at the cinema but I had a lovely time watching X-Men.

Good morning (just).
We have been a bit AWOL but I promise we have been good.
Spend day yesterday but that's just cause we went to asdamas for some food shopping. We don't normally get to asdamas as it is too far away from us.
Long story short... Not much else going on just now. We are up the road at my parent's holiday house for the weekend babysitting their dog (trying to keep the routine as normal as possible).
Hope everyone is doing well.

Afternoon all
Spend day here. Had breakfast out with a friend after our night out. I had budgeted £40 to include taxis and came in at £29.95then spent £6.60 on breakfast so £36.55 in total. Weirdly a man threw £40 on our table whilst we were out and told us to but more drinks! I was all up for keeping it but it got spent on shots! Which I hate and avoided.
Also did the weekly food shop and monthły animal food shop but will update totals on the next challenge as I run budgets payday to payday.
Hope you've all had a good day, I'm curled up on the sofa with all the dogs, we're avoiding the rain but hoping it'll stop so we can go for walks later.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

I've been sandal shopping today. It's surprised me just how expensive they can be! Anyhow, ended up looking in m&s and found the last pair in my size that I liked and that were comfy. In the queue, the lady in front of me was giving people vouchers for 20% discount, as she had a sheet of them; so I ended up paying just £14 for sandals just like ones I'd seen elsewhere for over £48. Result! :T I'll move the saved £4 to the mortgage later.
I also have £40 of amaz0n vouchers to use, so have found some clarks + office shoes to try to hunt down. Or at least get a discount for from somewhere.
I confess we went into Pr3t today, so I am currently on the naughty step. Whilst there, the manager came round giving the children a free yummy baguette. Dd promptly wrinkled her nose at it and gave it to daddy, who was happy to scoff it!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Hello Tributes,
A bit of spending today - finalising Nan's birthday present (£34.99 total), stuff to make cake pops for party next week(£4.95 as already have some stuff in) and grocery shop £44.98, so spent a lot but think it's not too bad as it could have been a lot more. AND - seeing godsons later as they are up this weekend - very excited. :j Yesterday was a SFD but otherwise a bit rubbish, a bird pooed on my head on the way to clinic - horrible.
Mrs GSR - how annoying! I had no idea pushchair tyres cost that much!
Shyspender - hugs, moving house is SOOOO stressful, look after yourself. You will get through it, but it's really hard to feel you well when you're right in the middle.
Mothernerd - what an awful situation for your son's girlfriend, she is very lucky to have you and your family as a support but it all seems so unfair for her.
moomin - I definitely see paypal as free money - came in very handy for to buy some books in the week to cheer me up without having to add to my budget!;)

Evening All,
Congratulations Fmess!!
MagicCat - isn't that meant to be lucky?! Sorry to hear about the interviewMind you, I've always been offered jobs when I thought the interview was terrible, so you never know x
I was MIA yesterday, no excuse apart from I may have lost a piece of my brain at work! I came home, drank tea and went to bed without even thinking about MSE once! I suddenly realised whilst on my way to work this morning - gutted I won't hit my target for checking in now
Two more SFD's for me - wahey!!! Nothing spent yesterday or today. Got paid yesterday, and a little bit more then expected was transferred over to me which should cover the £50 registration fee for DD's new nursery which we are visiting next week. I was worrying a bit where I was going to get it from.
Nothing else much going on. DD is staying with my cousin tmrw night as I have no childminder Monday, and my ex-husband has invited me out for dinner. It won't cost me anything, as he knows I'm skint and he has an ulterior motive. Part of me feels a bit bad as he's wasting his money (!) but then again, he earns a fortune so why shouldn't I let him pay!! And lets face it, he's not doing it out of the goodness of his heart!
Anyhoo, scores on the doors:
