This is a very modest budget so that's pretty cool. I will have to second the wedding bikini though :T... I can see where you are coming from with regards to massive discounts by booking ahead and this makes perfect sense. I also know you are super sensible and was playing devils advocate a little with my question...

My friends got married in Zante for the same reason as you... I think it will be amazing and you have clearly thought everything through so keep us up to date on goings-on... It's kinda exciting for us as well.... :p:p:p

:rotfl: After reading your message, I did get a bit of a knot in my stomach about putting back my DFD. I'm a changed woman thanks to you! But then I realised my DFD will still be a year and a third earlier than predicted plus I will have saved for a wedding and not got into debt because of it :)

SFD today, think that's number 10 :) Hoping the thought of saving for the wedding will help reduce my spending, and it's a great excuse to tell friends why I can't go out!

Fmess sounds like a great plan and well thought out, you get what you want, feel in control of your choices and with no additional debt and still ahead of your original DFD!

Don't forget the black pepper for HM guacamole! I am currently working my way through a batch of homemade hummus - delicious! :)

Another SFD! :D is that 13/15 now?

Have meal planned like a boss and don't need to buy anything for home, might need to put a few pounds into housekeeping at M's though.

However, due to some misunderstandings, I am way over on the entertainment budget. :o

Still, I will not be defeated! Made some flapjacks this evening and roasted up some carrots and onions that were on the turn so those will go into meals for the next couple of days. Waste not want not! :rotfl:

Check in number ???/31. 12/31 I think. I'm sticking with that!

  • Just popping my head in quickly - another NSD and another glorious birthday bit of fun with friends and family. Had relatives staying but they left excess food here - we were def quids in on the food front when they left, despite spending out on some things! Lovely day out with a buddy and his campervan..free cuppas along the way! All very nice. Not keen on going back to work 2mrw really!

Paying guest arriving tomorrow - looks set to be a long day! His room ready but bits of house still to blitz - will do so in the (very early) am I think! Off to bed now...totally shattered!

PS pleased to have made £22 in ebay /fb buy and sell this weekend :) and cleared a couple of bulky things out of the way.

    PPS Congratulations Fmess! :T:T:j

    Morning :D

Today **will** be a SFD. I need to get past 12 :D I'm putting today down as LTW as although I have jury duty they haven't specified if we get fed so I'm taking food with me.

Another lovely day, so I've got some washing on and will hopefully be able to get it out on the line before I have to leave the house.

Forgot my grateful list yesterday, so I'll start today with it: yesterday I was grateful for aircon in the computer room, well-behaved children, dd getting to sleep quickly, daisies carpetting the lawn, friends joining my weightloss challenge at work.

Someone has come in the office with frash baked biscuits and chocolate brownies ( NON VEGAN) and left them beside ME!

Good luck with that! Someone brought in a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts the other day at work - managed to resist but had a good old sniff of them. Not quite the same...and people did think I was a little strange :D

You're strong though! Have a sniff instead :rotfl:
