Morning All,
Early check in for me as working a late today. Went to MrT with vouchers this morning, couldn't believe I ended up spending £14.95 on top of the £27.40 in vouchers I used! I stuck totally to my list, picked the cheapest of everything, didn't buy any meat or fish and still was way over budget. What a huge difference from Aldini! MrT's cheapest GF bread was £2.40 whilst Aldini is £1.49! Definitely won't be doing my shops there again unless I have the vouchers. But on the plus side, I've got plenty in for the week and I'm still under my weekly budget.
Managed a workout this morning as well, what a difference a good nights sleep makes!!
Anyhoo, totals so far

Just a quick check in from me, it was payday today, and checkout my debt goal total! Transferred the whole goal amount over right away, as per the habit NSK is embedding in us! Got to do some juggling of figures to see where I can squeeze more out. I'm delighted that I'm managing to pay off in bigger chunks now, despite having had a few treats and booking tickets for Hay etc. Most of my social spend is things that will happen during half term - so spent ahead really.
Glad you are feeling better Mrs GSW. Its a horrible thing! Will read up on threat properly later tonight. Off for dinner with a mate now - at home, naturally! Taking one of the 3 bottles of wine I've been given this month! The other two are coming on our hols in half term:rotfl:

MrsGSR glad you are starting to feel better
MagicCat do you know if we can get sliced gf loaves on prescription? I've never checked but love their seeded loaf. Also which makes of crackers can you get? I never knew we could get them!
siannielaz I've just had the same experience. Went to Asd4 for a few bits (couldn't go to Ald! as needed to put it on the credit card until payday) and ended getting loads of 'bargains'. They will all be used but are not essential.
So today was a spend day but I'll update my totals on the laptop tomorrow.LBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Spent 42p on 2l sm own brand diet de-caff coke. Bought 2kg bananas, 2kg carrots, 2 head broccoli, 2 head celery, apples, tomatoes and eggs for £1.36 (+ £10 worth of nectar points). have another £10 worth to spend as necessary.
Walked to physio appointment, went in gym with physiotherapist, warm up on a bike and learned 3 new exercises to be done with a resistance band round my knees. Walked into town, bought coke, visited library, old house, post office and paid ground rent bill (£3.75 taken from travel budget). Then to sm and on to mum's. Hardly been able to move all afternoon but saved the £5 day saver bus fare, so satisfied as I was really pushing it by the end, just looked at the ground and counted 100 steps, then the next 100.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Today I finally spent some of the Sally Army credit I've been accruing. I had £24 'saved up'! £7.96 got 3 pairs of more lightweight trousers for work and a nice book for dd. Dd needed toothpaste so popped to the health food shop for that, and got some gf licorice while I was there. It's the only place I can get it, so it's like striking a seam of gold when they have it in stock; only bought 1 bag though - £3.05 for sweeties is steep!
Having spent, I then got milk, and also some factual books dd will use over the next few years. Possibly a little too much planning ahead? I'd been looking at similar books online in a 'sale' where they kept sneaking in items that were more expensive so I just gave up. 7 books for £7 is well worth it.
Today I am grateful for the sunshine, birdsong, lovely drivers, next door's bouncy castle that fills their tiny garden (!) and cuddles with dd.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Mad at myself today, forgot lunch so bought some and had with friends. £4.80 out of my social fund. Must remember to prepare lunch the night before. Also added a very exciting 34p to the holiday savings pot.

I'm making a birthday cake tomorrow night with my sister for our friend. I must also still buy a birthday card so I'm expecting to spend a little tomorrow. We are going to attempt a theme cake on a budget, I'm also going to give truffles a whirl too if I have any change leftover. I'm off next Friday so have corrected this in ltw target.
Logged into sky account today to check my next bill, I then checked my rewards expecting to find 2 for 1 on cinema tickets, and to my surprise it said I had a £65 tesco voucher to claim. I've accepted and it's now on its way to me in the post. I'm on a streak with them :T
Right I'm off to prep tomorrow's dinner, at least I can add that to my targets tomorrow.
Night guys xxI have enough money to last me the rest of my life unless I buy something -:j:rotfl::j

Grateful today for: lovely lot of bubble-wrap and packaging from a nice lady on freecycle: that will help with the next month or so's ebaying; BIL is bringing baby nephew over for hugs tomorrow (first time he has visited us without sis...she is out for a rare day away..such events bond extended families a bit don't you think?)... ; all these cheering / motivating updates in this challenge diary; a payday where I choose how to allocate the money to the debt, rather than firefight with it; the love and cheery messages from some good friends; a £5 amazon giftcard from swagbucks; that the bread I made on Wed is still lovely and fresh, and rose better than before; and the extra space the ebayed furniture has left in my room! :j
All this and a NSD! Went to a mates for dinner but was cheeky enough / knew them well enough to take the half of the fruit pie I had left from Wed night entertaining, rather than buy a new pudding en route. Was just the two of us for a dinner and TV night so seemed silly not to! Watched a re-run of grand designs where a lady spent £34,000  on a cooker, but the thermometer on it didn't work, after being replaced twice!! Can you imagine? My one inherited from my aunt works just fine, and cooks nicely0 -
crazy-lady - there are a lot of £0 in your signature - well done.
I think the people who spend £34,000 on cookers or the like are good for the rest of us as it keeps companies in enough profit to offer the rest of us good deals.
Last night I did my grocery shop at Tesco using a £5 voucher. I've mentioned before that our local Tesco is rubbish at reducing items and only knocks pennies off, well last night we got some real bargains in the fruit and veg are, a massive bag of carrots for 9p, packs of melon for 20p, mango in pots 20p, packs of chestnut mushrooms 10p and lots more too.
Today will involve spending money I am sure. My car goes in for its MOT this morning, the test is already paid for but I have everything crossed that it passes. Whilst it is being done we are going into town and I will be having a look for sports wear although I am looking for specialist stuff as I am very fussy and hate fashion sportswear.
I have a gammon joint in the slow cooker for tea, the washing is out on the line, the kids are playing without falling out so all is good.
Enjoy the sunshine and have a lovely day.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
