morning all
didnt manage a sfd yest as bought eggs from a colleague for £1 and popped to mr m for egg noodles to go with my dinner (but i only bought the noodles and avoided all sweets, choc etc :A)
cant believe i am still only on one sfdshould get one today though
have got bg coming today for my survey about free insulation for the loft. fingers crossed i qualify and can get the £150 to clear my loft. tbh if they dont give me the £150, unless they will lay it over my floorboards i wont get it as my loft is about 23sqm and its all properly boarded with millions of nails in every joist so will take forever to lift them and its not worth it for savings of around £14 per year on my gas bill (already have some but not enough!).
once i have the answer either way i will bring down the rest of the stuff to sell. hoping for £100 for my victorian floorboards. i noticed there are about 4 full length boards (so about 3sqm) laid in the loft so i will need to rip them up. i bought a tool from wickes for lifting them so hopefully it works! will leave all the junk wood up there if its not being insulated as then i dont need to worry about getting rid of it.:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -
Ooops no checkin from me yesterday, too tired after major long shift. Spent £1 by having chips for lunch at work yesterday (they were calling my name and I needed them).
I have macaroni and cheese for tea at work tonight, plus another real long shift. Fingers crossed for a spend free dayI have enough money to last me the rest of my life unless I buy something -:j:rotfl::j

Morning all!
Slightly freezing in the office this morning! But here I am desperate for the day to get started - haha!
After my bus fare of £26 for the buses I have precisely £26 per week to live on. I think that is more than adequate although I am desiring more and more vegetables recently and can eat nearly 3/4 a broccoli for dinner with some lentil loaf - I have to urge for potatoes or carbs which is good. So - it's the fruit and veg that needs to be planned carefully.
I bought water today as I am not drinking enough and re-filling my silly little bottle all the time at work is driving me nuts = 80p / tub of coconut pieces = £1 / 1 banana = 19p.... the banana thing irks me a bit considering I bought 7 the other day for £1 making them 14p each. Grr!
On another note I wrote a complaint to Channel 4 last night. Their show The Island sickened me.... but I shan't go on.
Tesco £5 money-card is in the post and on it's way to me. That will be a large bag of Almonds thank you very much Tesco.... and I still have my £5 off a spend of £30.... so will be using that soon too if I can find it ...
Anyway - a question. Any one had a colonic here? Care to share the experiance? Hmmmmmmmm breakfast talk - love it!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. This is so cool - well done! So £12k. How you planning on doing it? :T:T:T“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Love the email and their response NSK, what are you going to spend your £5 on?! I love free money
Well the idea is the bag of Almonds that are 750g and usually £6.50 . So with my £5 money-card and my money off £30 spend they will be free. :T:T:T................... I just have to find that receipt.“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Took the odds and sods out of my Paypal account to leave a £100 balance for expenses for the weddings we're off to. I've updated my post from this morning but I'm over £90 paid in to my ISA this month already0

Today won't be a SFD as Princess Kitty has lost her catflap key and as I've no spares I need to order some pronto. The kitties are out to bankrupt me this month I swear. Payday on Friday, thank goodness, as I now have £2.37 left in my bank account.0
