Evening... Sorry, was working yesterday and I'm not sure if I posted. If I didn't, I'm sorry.
    :undecided

Spend-free day today. We did go out and OH spent money on the suits for the wedding in Kos and we bought a xmas pressie but the money was taken out of the xmas pot and returned so I'm not counting it.
Yep... you read that right... I have just bought our first xmas pressie. I saw it and my first thought was of how much my brother would love that so we bought it for their xmas.
    :D

Saturday should have been a spend-free day as I was working all day but OH discovered the "shopping envelope" and decided to go shopping. No idea how much he spent but we have £29.20 left for the month.
    :(

Word of warning... I might be AWOL this week. I am working mon, tues, wed and thur day shifts then we leave very early on the Friday to go down south for a wedding. So this is an early apology in case I don't turn up. I will try though.
    :)

    Hello Tributes,

Hope you've all had a good weekend.

Just a qick note from me to apologise for not posting yesterday - had a migrane so spent the best part of the day lying in the dark (and the worst part throwing up :-( ). AND I missed Eurovision as I was asleep, very sad.

Today has been a bit of a spendy day as went grocery shopping and got a few things but still not feeling 100% so will post details tomorrow.

    Take care all.

Evening Tributes - sorry I missed posting yesterday was window shopping to try out kit for travels cheaper on the internet, really successful day though did have 3 unplanned spends on necessary items that I am short of just not budgeted for but all less than half original price... also painted the kitchen and today have resealed all the units cleaned and decluttered rubbish so it looks bigger :)

So today I am grateful for a sparkly kitchen, one more ebay item selling (4 more to go without bids), a lot of responses to my ad for a housesitter!

Budgets looking stretched to say the least now to focus on a few NSD to catch up! Only 3 so far :( Hope you've all had lovely weekends.

    Evening all,

Spend day today as my long walk was rained off and we ended up going out for lunch instead so lost a SFD. Got a loaf of bread whilst at it to make tomorrow a SFD :)

Wow oldestgnome what a productive day!

magiccat hope you feel better soon

Need at have SFDs until payday pretty much as have no money left in most budgets. I'm wondering whether to give myself a weekly budget instead, anybody use this method? What do you think?

Still on 6 SFDs, bought a drink at the train station yesterday but did use my bite card for a discount, and been to the supermarket today.
Been playing with YNAB a bit today trying to see if my money will stretch to payday (still only 109 days away...) and decided to double-check some figures - found that my house insurance is half what I thought it would be! That makes it easier!

Quickly checkin from me today, came in under budget when purchasing my friends birthday present, have a few extra pennies to get her a little extra, thinking of making her some truffles to go with her new mug (ohhh with the beautiful semi naked Jon snow on it)

Also made a big batch of macaroni cheese, made 4 portions in dishes, had one portion for tea the rest will be frozen tomorrow. Was feeling like I needed a proper pudding and created a rather delicious pear, blueberry and chocolate crumble (all leftover bits) it's blooming yum!

Anyway I'm in a slight food coma so will bid you farewell before I fall asleep ha ha x

Yesterday was my food shopping day, so I'm now pretty stocked for the rest of the week. I'd like to end the week with £10 left to carry over to the following week, but I'm not sure if that'll happen as Mr Mooo returns from a trip to his family in a couple of days and he's a bit less willing to "rough it" food-wise :D

I'm still trying to find a dress for some weddings we're going to in a couple of weeks. I've bought one but it was £57.50 (!) and although it's nice I would rather not spend that much. I checked the order I did with H&M and the dress wasn't due to be delivered until after wedding #1 so that's been cancelled.

Tonight I'm going to review what's in my wardrobe already and make a plan based on that.

Today will be a SFD - I have things to post but Paypal covers those costs.

Isn't Jon Snow an elderly newsreader?:rotfl:

Yesterday was a SFD just. Today will be another. I am hoping it stays dry today, the weather since Thursday has been a pain, bright sunshine so you go out and two minutes later it throws it down.

I got a pay rise last week albeit a very, very small one.

    Have a good day folks.
