um...think you will find I am not actually an idiot sweetcheeks, when you consider the actual definition of such a thing:An idiot, dolt, or dullard is an intellectually disabled person, or someone who acts in a self-defeating or significantly counterproductive way.

Merely stating facts that this thread seems a bit unlikely does not make me an idiot.Heaven forbid opinions are shared,eh?
I don't even remember reading your post, but if the cap fits.........

I wasn't being smart, I was just stating the truth. I have no idea what you said and was not referring to you specifically, just to all the people who have turned a fun thread sour and upset a new poster.

Just ignore the idiots who have been rude to you. As you can see, there are nasty people in Britain too.

    .

This idiot is actually a retired English teacher, who would like to think that people spend hours curled up reading a Jane Austen novel.

Unfortunately, we readers of classics are in the minority.

So why not give the OP the benefit of the doubt instead of assuming she is winding us up? And if you can't believe her, can't you just stop reading the thread instead of calling her a bored student?

I think the op should watch some Jeremy Kyle online to get a better picture of the uk.

The people I know are almost as far removed from the people Kyle deals with as we are removed from royalty. I've occasionally seen it. 'Nuff said.

I've occasionally seen the Kyle programme and none of the people I know personally are in any way as foul-mouthed as the people he deals with, or have the kind of habits and lack of work ethic.

Amazing how some people have nowt better to do than to search through every post I ever made and come up with something which is 2 years old. Thank you - not - for reminding me of something which was extremely painful.

And all the bickering and in-fighting on this thread alone (over nothing) shows americans why "being raised with royalty" is worth chuff all. Good luck op but he dont sound interested, hope you make a good friend.

A friend of mine got into a transatlantic relationship for a short while.

The Yank imagined he was dating Prince Edward. The Brit seems to have imagined it was Robert de Niro.

Sadly, real life was less 'fantastic' and it all ended in tears.
