eh?where have I done that? I have NEVER mocked anyone with cancer and you can consider yourself a bully for even stating such a thing. You have no idea about my experiences so how can you call me a witch as well? all because I don't believe a thread? perhaps you should open your eyes to the real world where people do REALLY nasty stuff every day- not just disagree with someone on a flippin forum!
and I can assure you that I have a very full life and am not bored,in fact, far from it!I just do not believe the op- if this is all genuine, then fair play I wish her well. Just seems a bit too sugar coated and fantastic to be real imo
Why do you think I am always talking about you? I said witches in the plural so I was talking about other posters and I was also talking about other threads where similar things have happened.0 -
Nothing like overreacting,eh?bitter, twisted and cynical?I again refer you to the definition of these terms:
Bitter:
feeling or showing anger, hurt, or resentment because of bad experiences or a sense of unjust treatment.
you obviously know me so well and know bout all of my experiences for u to turn mini-psych and call me bitter.
Twisted:
(of a personality or a way of thinking) unpleasantly or unhealthily abnormal; warped.
errm, nope, I am of sound mind thankyou very much. Considering your opinion of my posts and the vile anguage you have used in comparison to mine, I would say that it is YOU who are the bully, not me.
So in your opinion, there is nothing wrong with saying;
and the fact that posts scream 'I am so innocent, poor little me' and 'you've really caused me hurties'....what sort of a grown woman responds like that?!
Yes, I suppose people like you would think it is an acceptable comment to make because you are probably used to saying much worse.0 -

No, there is nothing wrong with saying it- based upon years of meeting people who present in this manner, that is my assessment of the situation by reading between the lines. she stated 'causing me hurtship', which to me, comes across as infantile for a grown woman, but each to their own.
either way, tired of this thread now.laters.0 -

If that is your assessment of the situation, can't you keep it to yourself and not say hurtful things or is that beyond you?
No-one can be 100% sure if someone is genuine, so a decent person wouldn't risk upsetting a genuine poster and keep their thoughts to themselves and stop reading the thread.
If it's each to their own, then why mock her or does it make you feel superior?0 -
oh be quiet,do. a decent person would keep their mouth shut?how does expressing an opinion-either rightly or wrongly-constitute a lack of common decency?they do say that the truth hurts, dont they?what happened to freedom of speech?
again, quit with your psycho-babble regarding superiority and pseudo-analysis of my psychological state because you do not have a clue.
'mock' her? for calling her out on infantile phrases that are not particularly common words to use for grown adults? Its called cutting to the quick, reading between the lines and finding out if someone is genuine, or not considering how many others have responded with advice- and also questioned the validity of this thread.0 -

I give up.
Some people can't be reasoned with because they are just unreasonable.
And this time I am talking about you.0 -
Can't help thinking that the OP's 'rose coloured spectacle' ideas about us Brits will have been well and truly ruined by these shenanigans !Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0

As has been raised further up the thread, no one individual is representative of how people of a certain nationality are overall. If nothing else this thread will have opened her eyes to that fact now.The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.0 -
