Yeyyyyyyyyyy!!!!! Oduliet!!!
Good for you!!!
Great to hear from you!!! I was SOOOO worried that you'd given up on us. Very, very pleased you're back.
A SECOND date? Do you mean a REAL date? Whoop-de-doo!
You both obviously had a good time on the first outing! Where did you go?
Ooooh, I'm so excited for you now! Can't wait to hear what happens next!sorry I haven't responded yet a rule being new means I can only send 1 message an hour and I responded to another message before yours.
I think it is a real date, he never said it was as friends only so I'm taking it as a date :j
We went to a country dance last Saturday which are very popular here in Lancaster. He very much enjoyed his first ever line dance and it was real good fun. There was no kiss at the end, but first base Friday evening? I wish :rotfl:Whoops-a-daisy :cool:0 -
Line dancing! What a good idea! Lots of fun and laughs but no pressure!
Where are you going on Friday! More of the same?
Go carefully, though, you don't want to scare him off. If he doesn't make a move, just give him a quick peck on the cheek.

Just remember that being of one nationality doesn't mean that you are mad about your country. People get all excited when I tell them where I'm from and go on and on about everything they know and love about my birth country...and frankly, it is quite a turn off. I don't mind talking about my country on a deeper level, but it doesn't define me and constant reference to it on what is a superficial stereotypical way isn't nice conversation. A lot of the things you have mentioned here is very stereotypical, so be careful not to alienate him. Have fun and do be yourself, if he is going to be attracted to you, it has to be with the real you.0

I'm SO glad it seems to be going well, please do ignore our forum trolls that like to pour scorn on practically everyone (the old "must be fake" thing is a common put down when they can't think of anything better to say).
I'm nothing like royalty, but I DO have an open fire (okok, so I converted it to a wood burning stove..) and a British guy who is a real gentleman. I also quite like Jane Austin even if I do usually prefer it in a film format! Whilst its probably unwise to totally believe all the stereotypes, they do often exist for a reason and some of them are true (I once saw a Frenchman on a bicycle wearing a beret too!)0 -
Thanks for updating us Oduliet.
I hope you have a great time on Friday.0 -

Quite right. He is taking me for a meal to this British style pub he has found here which serves traditional British food. He will even buy me a pint mate :rotfl:
Make sure that pint is at room temperature and is the right colour (i.e. not yellow).
Joking apart, good luck with round two!0
