I just signed up for this offer, but i got an email saying they couldnt complete the credit check.
This is no doubt because when i put the post code for my old address, it didn't come up with my flat number it was just the full property. I didnt pick one of the addresses, as i know my neighbours always had severe debt problems.
i got an email confirming my order and someone will contact me in a few days to continue this process
i am worried that if this process is not completed by the 22nd June i will not be able to get the voucher
I rang them and the person on the phone said the date they use is the date you registered with them and i will still get the voucher but i am still worried, as often contact centre staff just fob you off to get you off the phone
what do people think?0 -
Hi
Received the MSE Email on wednesday night thought that the EE broadband was too good to miss. Tried to sign up online and the link from the "voucher completed page" was broken. Called the special number today and after going through the sign up procedure was informed that to get the offer I would need to supply my MAC from my existing provider before close of play tomorrow Friday. Unfortunately MAC can take up to 5 working days so what's the chance of being able to get the offer. A little naughty for MSE to promote an offer that I suspect is almost impossible to get.0 -
Same worry here that I won't get the voucher : although I registered for the voucher using the link provided in MSE's email (Wednesday), and completed an online application to switch to EE, I still haven't received anything confirming that my voucher was being processed, not even an aknowledgement email.
I am a bit worried now, as this was the main reason for me to switch...0 -
Don't know what this deal is, but I got a £131.30 cashback deal, tracked already, for £162 line rental for a year, and new phone connection, then another £2.50 for 12 months. So £192 less £131,30, so £60.70, for a new connection, unlimited broadband, free weekend calls, new router, for the year. About £5 a month, all in.0

I just signed up for this on the basis of the voucher offer. I was
very careful to use the link from the MSE email, entered voucher code which was accepted, was redirected to the main EE site to complete the order, which I did.
*BUT* from then on there was no mention of the Amazon voucher! In particular my confirmation email says nothing about it. Should I worry about whether the offer has been applied? Did anyone else get confirmation?0 -
Hi all,
Anyone going via the MSE link and using the code should get the £120 Amazon voucher after three months. If after that time you haven't received your voucher, let us know and we'll try to help.
Thanks!0 -
I'm in exactly the same position as Moneyer. I just phoned EE and they said I should have received an email from Money Supermarket (sic) confirming that I have applied under this offer. They said as my transfer is not due to go live until 1 July, I can phone any time up to 30 June to cancel the order if I have not had the email and am not happy.
I'm not convinced the guy knew what he was talking about however.
It is very unsatisfactory that we have no confirmation that the Amazon voucher offer will be applied, especially as there was no indication when I clicked through to EE from the registration email that I was applying under the MSE offer. It's a bit like the lottery of getting cashback via Top Cashback or Quidco, except that in this case I don't even have the comfort of knowing whether the cashback has tracked. I wish now I had applied using the phone number provided; at least I would have had someone from EE confirming to me that my application was going through under this offer.
The offer would not be worth taking up without the Amazon voucher, yet I'm now supposed to wait 3 months or more before I get any clue whether the voucher will be forthcoming or not?0 -
Further to this, I just called EE and spoke to a woman who says the voucher offer is nothing to do with them: it is a third party offer. If she is to be believed, they are fielding a lot of calls about this and don't quite know what to do about them as they don't have contact details for whoever is actually responsible for the offer! If true, I'm slightly disappointed in MSE, as I would normally expect the site to make clear where a third party is involved?!
Can somebody from MSE please confirm the situation? If the voucher is indeed being offered by a third party, who is it, and how can we contact them?0 -
I wrote to MSE right at the very beginning..... Not a single reply. Hoping that forum exposure might actually evoke a response..... Probably not - losing faith.....0

I got the confirmation email in regards to the voucher, it did go into my Junk Mail though and it was from voucher window dot com.
Now getting all the calls from Sky trying to get me to stay with them, best offer so far has been free broadband for a year and half price line rental for a year plus a 10% discount off my family package, still sticking with the EE offer though, I think!!Thanks to all the competition posters.0
