Not sure if I've done something wrong but completed the form with the code, went to the site. Order all went through fine, but I've only had an email confirmation from EE, and not from that voucher site?
How long did it take other people's to come through?
Thanks0 -
I signed up to this deal and received my router a week ago, the box had "Plug me in once we've told you your broadband is ready" written on it.
Since then I've had no contact from EE, yesterday my TalkTalk Broadband stopped working, so I plugged in the new router from EE and it seems to be up and running, speeds are a couple of MBs faster which is a bonus.
I've still had no contact from EE to say that everything is setup though.
I can't track my order on their website as I get an error message, but when logged in my current plan shows as
Change your home plan
Your current home plan is:
OTHER CONVERGED - Broadband and Weekend Calls (Non OUK PAYM) - £21.40 a month inclusive of £15.40 line rental, Bright Box wireless router, unlimited usage allowance & Inclusive Weekend UK Landline calls inc 0845 and 0870
Which is hopefully incorrect, does anyone else who signed up for the offer have an incorrect plan shown in there account ??
I paid the line rental upfront.0 -
has anyone used this together with "topcashback"0

Thanks for pointing this out, yes mine says the same. I will give them a call to make sure they correct it. My order confirmation email clearly outlines the correct deal so I guess this is just an IT error, hope so anyway!0 -
I've signed up fine but had nothing but problems so far.
Got the MAC code from BT and gave to EE customer service who said it was valid. New Broadband box turned up, plugged it in........ nothing. Called EE, "Oh, your not due to be connected until next week, we informed BT your transfer date was the 22nd March"
"OK, but BT have already cut off my broadband"
EE guy, "Oh, im very sorry there's nothing we can do, you'll need to call BT"
Called BT, the MAC code has been activated so Broadband was deactivated. So I had no internet for just over a week. BT fault and EE unhelpful
Got email from EE saying my first bill is online, similar to above says im paying £21.40/Month with a £15.40 line saver discount?
Called EE, said im supposed to be charged £6.00/month with a discount. Shirty customer service guy said "Yes, that's what your paying after the discount. £6.00/month". Can't fault his maths to which I replied "yes but my sign up details which I've got in front of me here say I pay £6.00/month with a £4.00 discount"..... Line goes quiet "I've just got to speak to someone"..... line quiet for several minutes. "The discount hasn't been applied yet"
Been a week and still haven't seen anything, nothing has been changed and not heard from EE. EE fault
Got several emails from BT today, one saying please send back any unused equipment for recycling (fair enough). Another saying Sorry you're leaving and the final one saying Thank you for your order, apparently I'd signed up to unlimited evening and weekend calls with BT for £17.99/month which would be activated today???
Checked fine print on sorry you're leaving email and it says as I've cancelled the broadband they'll automatically transfer my account to the unlimited calls package. I'm not sure how they can do this when I've not agreed to it and my calls are now supposed to be with EE? Going to call BT at lunch time to cancel but this seems like a ridiculous farce. BT & EE fault.0 -
Signed up I the EE broadband and line rental deal as this site says its a good deal, but with the customer service I've received I wouldn't go with EE if they were giving their services away.
Was supposed to go live last Tuesday but I never received a router, when I rang up they apologised and said there had been a human error and I hadn't been switched but my old supplier had switched of my services and EE hadn't taken it over despite receiving all their confirmations and switch over dates so they said I'd have to wait another 10 days for my internet to be switched on but in the meantime they'd send me out a dongle to use and it would be with me in 2 days and they'd ring me back to keep me informed of progress. 3 days later and still no dongle and no phone calls so I ring again and they practically called me a liar saying there was no way that I would have been told this and there were no notes on my account and that I just had to wait the 10 days with no internet at which point I swiftly canceled the whole deal as I do not want to be stuck in a contract with a company like that and I don't think this site should be promoting such a bad company.0 -
I cannot see this £2 a month deal for the service.
The voucher works OK and the yearly payment for the line, but the monthly charge is +£15 however you arrange it.
The deal doesn't seem to exist as stated.Under no circumstances may any part of my postings be used, quoted, repeated, transferred or published by any third party in ANY medium outside of this website without express written permission. Thank you.0 -
I'm a bit worried now as I've just signed up to EE and seen all the troubles people have had. Although I have noticed most of the complaints are those switching over whereas mine will be a new installation, which will be in a few weeks. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
Regarding the deal, I went with Quidco. Not sure if I'm correct but as a EE mobile customer I paid £192 for the line rental upfront (that incl. the £60 installation fee) and then £2 a month after that for unlimited broadband and weekend calls. With the £100 cashback, that means less than £10 a month. Unless I've got something wrong, I'm happy with that, fingers-crossed the service will be OK!0 -
I had a MAC code, very nice discussion with Ann at Orange, going well until shwe discovered that my exchange was lockedne by BT so I could not have the Amazon voucher and it would cost me £21 per month instead of £2 for broadband. Now looking again for a good deal. Leaving Skyb so their deal is no use to me.0
