  • I finally got my telephone number back and I received my voucher too. My bill wasn't correct and I was told some guff about the system not being able to do 2 discounts as I'd paid the line rental up front. So instead of £2.50 for the monthly broadband I've paid £10 and should get it re credited. Needless to say I'll be watching my bill like a hawk every month to make sure I pay only what I should. It was great to get the voucher but overall with the messing about over the number and the continuing uncertainty over the bill if I had the choice I'd have stayed put. Hope everyone gets theirs sorted too.

Received my e-voucher this week, not 3 months since I joined, but I did make the one off advance payment for line rental, so not sure if that's anything to do with it.

Hope everyone gets theirs sorted soon.
Thanks to all the competition posters.

    Hi Jade,
Pls see posts 90,94,95,97. I think I'm still waiting for your "individual" response? Did I miss your reply?

FYI, my bank account has recently been debited for the first month of your service which, despite contrary assurances from your telephone based colleagues, still uses a new landline number and provides unacceptably slow BB speed. In view of the quality of service you have provided, I have asked my bank to pull my money back.

Truly, I have moved now beyond anger into a state of incredulity that such a massive mess up could be perpetrated in a regulated industry in an era of consumer rights protction legislation.

You will be aware that I am taking my business back from EE. Pls contact me directly outside this forum to resolve this sorry saga. I authorise MSE hereby to provide you with my contact details in confidence for these purposes only, and for no other one.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you both in this forum for the information of others, and privately about my individual circumstances.

BTW, I have also been mailed recently by your direct marketing colleagues with a deal which looks exactly like the fiasco that I am kicking myself for getting involved in with you. EE surely know how to reassure their customers!

I'm also thinking of signing up for this. Does anyone know if EE broadband is OK?

I would hate to be stuck with hopeless broadband for a year. Currently have Sky unlimited which is used for general surfing and seems fine.

However OH sometimes streams videos or plays xbox online and he would want it to be ok for that too.
Hi whereas orange or ee mobile reception is poor, their broadband is surprisingly very good

I cant comment on current Orange/EE mobile reception as I'm with GiffGaff (uses O2) but I agree with Follyfoot that EE broadband performance is very good, it is slightly faster:) than my previous PlusNet service but has more "traffic management" :( and for longer periods for certain types of traffic. Depends what you use it for really.

  • Hi EE,

I have sent two emails over the course of a week to the listed email address at eevouchers@affiliatewindow.com to check that my order made on 18 July 2014 had tracked but have received no reply.

The first email was sent on 23 July and the second chaser email was sent on 29 email. I have received no reply to either.

I am keen to receive confirmation that my order has tracked and would be grateful for a response.

    Kind regards,

    Ben
  • Hi all,

I have also not had my voucher. About 2 weeks ago I got the email from 'Harry' saying sorry your order did not track you'll have it by the end of the month...

I know it isn't the end of the month until tomorrow, but I sent a chaser email to ask about progress a few days ago because I was more concerned after reading this thread.

I have had no response and I am not particularly hopeful about it coming through. Having to wait 90 days after ordering the broadband service is quite long enough.

I don't know whose responsibility this truly is. It seems very odd that EE take none of the blame for their 3rd party promoter's shortcomings.

I'm wondering how long it is appropriate to wait without making a more formal complaint to relevant organisations...trading standards, advertising standards authority, and maybe try to drum up a bit of noise in the media – Twitter or BBC's watchdog anyone?
