Does my phone number have to change? Thanks

Mati

Hi Mati

I believe you can keep the number you have. I would recommend calling Customer Services to check that you can keep your number and how that happens.
If you are looking to go with the current MSE offer (£100 voucher), do not purchase on the phone with them. Please go back to site and go through an online purchasing process.

Let me know if you have any issues
Thank you

Nope it hasn't been 3 months and I did email whoever you said to email at lunch and got no reply :(. I think I signed up in June though it could have been May however no one has said how we will learn when we get our voucher. Will we get an email or will it just be applied to our amazon account...

Please clarify.

Thankyou

Hi Erme

We are receiving a high number of queries coming through at the moment, but we are aiming to respond to all emails within 24 hours. Thank you for your patience.

The voucher is sent 3months from connection. It is automatically sent to the email you signed up with. We have had a few cases where it has gone to the junk folder, so please do keep an eye on thats folder too.

We are happy to check the status of your voucher, using the details you sent in your earlier email.

Thank you

I'm not sure which MSE / EE deal(s) people are refering to on here, but the last two offers I've seen from MSE emails during the past month or so mention Amazon vouchers "after 3 months". So I have a few months wait yet, but very interested in any MSE feedback on this issue & the very poor EE customer service.

I'm half way through changing from PlusNet to EE - my broadband's working fine (same as Plusnet did), but waiting for landline change in next few days (I'm not an EE mobile user). The direct debit has been taken for the full amount of £9.95+ line rental... NOT the discounted price quoted of £2.50. I was told during my last 25 minute conversation with EE that I had been set up on a full priced contract & that I had used a 3rd party website which they had no control over (!!) but he would change it to £2 broadband + £15.40 line rental per month. That was on 5th July, I'm still waiting for confirmation of that offer................... still waiting

Having experienced major problems with my last change of broadband & landline about 3 years ago, all I can suggest to others is take screen images of all online communications including sign-up, regularly check your online account & record any telephone conversations....... for quality & training purposes only of course!

Jade,

1.) How do I resolve my account / contract issue: having signed up on 20th June via the MSE £120 Amazon voucher link for the £2.50 + line rental per month for broadband & landline - the full amount of £9.95+£15.75 line rental has been taken by direct debit. The EE website I signed up with also confirmed the discounted broadband price, of which I took copies. (My broadband & line have been transferred over successfully)

I have conflicting email confirmations of both the 12 month discounted (£2.50pm) deal & the full priced (£9.95pm) deal.

Even after several phone calls to customer service, who initially knew nothing about the offer, I have had no response from EE to confirm the error and how it will be credited or refunded. I have no confidence in having to go through your general 0844 system again. How do I resolve this?

2.) Do I need to reconfirm now or in 3 months time with MSE or eevouchers@affiliatewindow.com or someone else that I will receive the £120 Amazon voucher?

Can you help? :wall:

Thanks

Please be assured there are customer services representatives on the community.ee.co.uk site ready to answer any service queries you have.

Thank you

Jade, have you ever actually checked this is the case?

I have just been through the last weeks worth of posts on the home broadband forum at http://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Home-Broadband/bd-p/broadband and not one of the posts has been answered by a member of staff as far as I can see.

The only answers are from other members who try to help each other. If that doesn't work you have to call the EE help desk.

If there are EE representatives there ready why are they not visibily assisting on the home broadband forum?

I actually got my voucher because of posting on the EE forum, not due to my posts here. I posted in the 'My Bill' forum. Here's the link: http://community.ee.co.uk/t5/My-Bill/Amazon-120-Gift-Certificate/td-p/171253 My ID on there is 'notlod'.
You might need to start another thread over there, because I marked mine as Solved, I'm not sure what the drill is about that. As you can see, it took 2 days for an official to pick up on it, but after that I got the voucher in just over 24hrs.

Hi TazDev

Sorry for the issues you are having.

MSE should be contacting you privately to ask for some information, so that EE can contact you directly and resolve your current service issue. Please keep an eye on your profile for their message.

With regards to the voucher we would recommend waiting until the 3 months from connection has passed. If you havent received in in that time, drop eevouchers@affiliatewindow.com a note and they can have it sent to you within a couple of working days.

Again we apologise for the inconvenience and issues caused
Thank you

Hi PinkUK

I can confirm there are representitves now on this forum to deal with any MSE offer queries.

I believe it was originally a forum specifically for customers to speak to other customers, but we have now ensured an EE representative looks after anything that comes through relating to MSE offer queries.

If you have commented on this forum and havent had any pick up please let me know and I can speak to that team.

Thankyou so much Jade. I don't know why I got my knickers in a twist over it. Got my voucher yesterday (duly spent it - needed new shoes:D) and am happy to say my concerns for now are resolved so long as I get that credit you promised me (well not you personally) for my package next bill :)

Once again thanks Jade
