MSE EE deal

I signed up for this MSE deal just yesterday. I was reading some of the comments people made about the deal, so I wasn't sure I wanted to go ahead and place it on online. I called in, but there was a bit of wait, I'm guessing because the offer was ending on the day.
The nice girl I spoke to walked me through the packages because I thought I had to pay for the £132 for the line and £30 (2.50/mth) broadband there and then. But she explained that everything is just on the 1st bill. I was with Sky and I was paying an arm and a leg for broadband- £17/mth and line rental on top of it because I wasn't in Sky's network area. EE offered me a better price and unlimited broadband, plus with the voucher offer, it seems like it was a no brainer.
I asked the girl about the emails confirming the offer for the Amazon voucher and she said the the email that is initially sent out after you put in the voucher code and fill out with your email acts like your confirmation for the vouchers. At the end of the call, I got another email confirming the contract details from EE. She stayed on the line with me until I got the email to confirm I received my ref number, etc. When I looked at it it said my plan was 9.95 instead of 2.50, but she explained that EE would be adding a credit each month to off set it. I'm a bit uneasy about it because it didn't state that in the email, but she gave me the free number to their processing team and said I could check with them in a couple days time to confirm. So I'll be giving them a call on Tuesday to make sure. She also told me the email address to MSE for the vouchers if I had any questions, but to keep my confirmation email from EE as proof of the sign up date.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed everything goes through as planned. I hope this helps anyone as some posts on here have answered my questions.0 -
If the voucher doesn't arrive then I will cancel the contract because it was miss sold.
To be honest I'm hoping it won't so I can change back to a reputable supplier. Really wishing I had researched EE customer service before signing up for this.0 -

Yes I am fed up with the misleading offers comparison sites are bringing up!! EE is NOT available in my area even though Martin says available to 90% which is wrong. The comparison sites bring up all the wrong info, says Primus is available for me me but its not, waste of time and getting quite frustrating and time consuming. Finding that with insurance price comparison sites they don't give you the full acts and if you don't read the small print you could be in serious troubleMakes the world go around eh...0

Me too. MSE Sally offered (in these forums) to help, but I PMd her on July 16 and never got a reply0 -
I'm not sure which MSE / EE deal(s) people are refering to on here, but the last two offers I've seen from MSE emails during the past month or so mention Amazon vouchers "after 3 months". So I have a few months wait yet, but very interested in any MSE feedback on this issue & the very poor EE customer service.
I'm half way through changing from PlusNet to EE - my broadband's working fine (same as Plusnet did), but waiting for landline change in next few days (I'm not an EE mobile user). The direct debit has been taken for the full amount of £9.95+ line rental... NOT the discounted price quoted of £2.50. I was told during my last 25 minute conversation with EE that I had been set up on a full priced contract & that I had used a 3rd party website which they had no control over (!!) but he would change it to £2 broadband + £15.40 line rental per month. That was on 5th July, I'm still waiting for confirmation of that offer................... still waiting
Having experienced major problems with my last change of broadband & landline about 3 years ago, all I can suggest to others is take screen images of all online communications including sign-up, regularly check your online account & record any telephone conversations....... for quality & training purposes only of course!0 -
