I can't even imagine what you are going through. A beautiful name, for a beautiful girl.

    Martha, it sounds so beautiful.

It starts with closed lips, like a kiss. Then it opens up, like the first sound that was ever said. And then it turns into a neverending whisper, like everything should. Like an "I love you".

    Thank you so much.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

The title says it all. Martha was killed 10/01/14 at 5.06pm.

I'm struggling, we're all struggling, I can't find anyone to talk to. Victim support sent a lovely chap, but he has no experience of this personally and I didn't feel that I could open up.

I've searched for forums to talk to others who've been through such a loss, but I can't find any, they must be there, perhaps the tears are obscuring my view of the search pages too much.

I'd be so grateful if anyone could point me in the direction of some support please.

I am so, so sorry. Please give yourself time and space to grieve for Martha.

Had my son been a girl, that was the name we had chosen.

I have found this forum. There is a discussion board for people who have lost their children. Hope it helps.

I honestly wish I knew what to say, I'm so sorry for your loss and my thoughts are with you, your family and her friends.

For what it's worth, I also think that Martha is a lovely name.

I'm beyond sorry. I just cannot imagine a grief worse than losing your child.

I wish there was something I could say or do to help. Your post has left me utterly choked and to be honest I didn't want to read and say nothing even though what I have to say just doesn't cut it at all.

    so sorry

When I had bereavement counselling the lady from Cruise told it you should not have it too soon, you need some time first to go through the grieving process for it to be more effective. My family and friends were, and always have been, the best support network, but do whatever works best for you.

Words seem so inadequate to say how much I feel for the loss you are experiencing.

As others have said, collect photos, write notes, letters, to yourself, about her, detail your memories, tiny things you never want to forget. Like a diary but loads of details, every tiny thing, every keepsake you have in your mind and your home and heart.
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!

I cannot imagine how you and everyone around Martha must be feeling at the moment. I feel terrible for you and am thinking of you all right now. So very, very sorry.
