So sorry for your loss. No one should have to deal with that :(

This might be worth looking at for support

No way could I read this and not post a response. I very much hope that amongst the organisations that have been suggested you find some appropriate support.

So so very sorry for your devastating loss X

Sadly I do know a lot of what you are going through. My lovely son Will died 10 years ago in a car crash. I felt my heart would break. I see a lot of his friends who are getting married and having children and grieve for what might have been.

Everyone`s way of grieving is so personal and so different and you will find what helps you and what you find comforting. People around you struggle to know what to say to you for fear they will say `the wrong thing`. They do care and that means a lot.

If you want to talk to me at any time, please do. I am away for a few days having surgery but happy to talk to you if that would help. I did find one book very helpful written by Lindsay Nicholson...`Living on the sea bed` about coping with the aftermath of bereavement

Thank you all for your kindness and support, and particular thanks to those who have suffered similar loss and have been able to share that with me.

The gp referred me to a counsellor, she said there was nothing she could do then, but gave me her mobile no. so I could contact her in the future, she will see me free of charge. She , like so many others wants to do whatever she can to help, and I'm truly grateful. But I really feel that, right now, I need to speak to people who have experienced this horror, speech it too hard right now.

Thank you for using Martha's name, a beautiful name for a beautiful, funny, stroppy, opinionated, kind and wonderful person.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.
