My 15 year old daughter has been killed by a lorry

Options
The title says it all. Martha was killed 10/01/14 at 5.06pm.

I'm struggling, we're all struggling, I can't find anyone to talk to. Victim support sent a lovely chap, but he has no experience of this personally and I didn't feel that I could open up.

I've searched for forums to talk to others who've been through such a loss, but I can't find any, they must be there, perhaps the tears are obscuring my view of the search pages too much.

I'd be so grateful if anyone could point me in the direction of some support please.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

{{hugs}} I've read your post with horror - I cannot begin to imagine how anyone can cope with such a loss - my heart goes out to you.

Have you spoken to your doctor about counselling? I was offered counselling when I lost my OH - didn't take up the offer, but I know people who have gone for counselling and they say it has helped.

Here are a couple of suggestions for you:-

So sorry to hear of your loss, I can't begin to think of the pain and sorrow that you and your family are going through, it's every parents worst nightmare. My condolences.

Coolcait has posted a few good helplines and services.

But please remember there is no time scale on grief and everyone is different and deal with it differently.

My prayers are with you all.
