    Evening all,
Back to work tonight after two weeks off with my knee. Feel a bit nervous, esp as my knee is still weak and I am not sure how long an appointment for the surgery will take to come through. Can't wait for it to be fixed as for nearly a year I have been unable to kneel, crouch or put weight on my knees or too much weight on my right leg. You don't realise how much you do these things till you can't!

Oooooh anyone watching "How to get a council house?"...This should be interesting!

Work out done for the night - feeling great. Bowl of tofu and broccoli for dinner with carrot sticks and celery makes me feel positively haughty...haha!

Very very easy day at work today - a little too easy! Making me feel a little useless. Probably same again tomorrow. Shouldn't complain really.

AppleMuncher - your workout sounds cool! Glad you are hitting it hard even with minimal spare time... I HATE burpee's though!

Right off to scream at the TV...

Gym day today.... lots of abs and shoulder work :D

Probably an SFD as Him Indoors is out so I can tackle the hallway and sort some stock for Sunday's fair...

DO you split your workouts? Like back and biceps, shoulders and abs, then a leg day..? I would love access to a gym, like a proper grunters gym to do a proper workout - so jealous. Happy you are hitting it hard though..

MrsGSR really hope it goes well for you tonight. I have had a weak knee all my life, hanging onto bannisters or railings when walking down stairs is a must or it will just go from under me - I am falling apart - so I know how you feel. Let us know how it goes tonight though.

Skip trip good from an mse point of view (only 2 trips, 3 pots with soil and then back for a bin bag with lots of big size plant pots - not had time to count them) but slept badly and could barely move this morning. So lifting 4 things out of a skip was too much (walking the 7 minutes back with the truck was fine).

Had to go to physio appointment - 4 exercises to do, hold each position for a count of 10, 10 repetitions and repeat 10 times a day. Spent money on all day anybus ticket, taxi back from appointment (exhausted from standing, sitting, lying onside, front, back, other side, bus had just gone and couldn't face the half hour wait and walk from bus stop to house.

Also spent on sandwich and a drink (water bottle was hiding at bottom of rucksack) and bought expensive stuff at the WRVS stall (payback as when DS2 had to have day surgery we got a free 20mile ride in one of their ambulances as no-one had told me I couldn't take him home by public transport, I didn't have any phone numbers and my mother was on holiday and I couldn't phone her to do the ringing round to see if any friends/relations could come for us).

Had a sandwich and fell asleep (much needed). Forced myself out to go and get weighed. I am 14st 5lbs, so have put on 4lbs whilst not being able to do very much. BMI showing at 34.8 - this is wrong, machine showing me as being at least 2" shorter than my actual height (was trying to stand up) so obviously another sign of problems caused by damaged leg, poorly knees and aching back, physiotherapist also said bits were turned in/ out.

Not aiming for any particular target weight (under 14st a good starting point), just want to get back on track and moving in the right direction (mornings like today, any movement at all would be a help).

Will need to spend money tomorrow and Friday so all budgets well and truly blown - had put in extra travel money this month but didn't expect to be out of action so long (really can't afford it). Have ordered more painkillers from doctors but can't pick up prescription until tomorrow afternoon (Have to decide whether to take last 2 tonight to get a good night's sleep or hold on in case I am in agony tomorrow morning. Friday have to go to mum's, probably bus.

Also spent £6 on American sweets:eek::eek:. Offered to get some when I was going to get weighed - they are DS3's gf's favourite and shop is a few doors away from shop with scales. However had forgotten that town with small independent retailers still observes Wednesday 1/2 day closing. So by-passed house on return journey and bus hopped to top end of our main shopping street to get to other sweet shop 5 minutes before closing.

They only sell packs, not loose. Didn't have any:eek::eek::eek:. Man came through from back, had found some hidden away - just gone out of date, could have them for 50p (normally £1.49) a pack so I bought the box. It will do instead of them having an Easter egg each and she has brought an enormous hand made chocolate cake for DS3's birthday so I think I am winning - that's my story and I am sticking to it. He has paid for all the food they have eaten so far - I did offer to tell him how to put the lamb dinner together but didn't offer to do it as I could barely stand up. Feel like a really bad host - usually plan special meals and a few treats, but struggled just to get some food in.

Sorry I'm waffling. I have a starting point. I have an exercise plan. I will do what I can and do my best not to worry about the things I cannot do - at the moment.

Hi kat, I do a mix of bodyweight ones and weighted ones. Mostly full body workouts that require good form, hence even today, I had a solid abs workout! If you have time - and the inclination - use youtube to check out 'ZWOW'or 'Zuzka Light'. I LOVE her shoulders!

    Hey all...

Racked up another 2 SFD's and got in 3 hours overtime today... I was too tired after work to hit the gym though, but not going to give myself too hard a time - and will instead eat the rest of my Easter Egg haha!

Car booked in for service and MOT on Friday - dread it as always - but try and remind myself just how much enjoyment I get out of driving and how lucky I am to have a car. I'd be lost without it.

Looking forward to weekend and pay day! Hoorah!

Have a great evening everyone :T

    Evening All,

Mothernerd - I'm glad I'm not the only person who collects toilet rolls! I find them much better than the trays for planting out seedlings.

Clippy_girl - I used to do bodypump a few times a week and it definitely works - I do miss the gym :(

No SFD for me today as had to pop to the local shop for a few bits, I'm definitely not being organised enough as I seem to keep running out essentials. Food budget blown for this month as I'll have to go to aldini's on Friday. Am going to meal plan for the next month and stick to it like glue.

Had a wonderful nights sleep last night as dd was with my mum, and it was the first night in over a week that I haven't woken myself up coughing. The cats woke me up at 7, so I fed them and went back to bed, not surfacing again until 9.45! My first lie in since November. So why do I feel so guilty? My flat is tidier than it's ever been, I'm being productive every day but I can't shake the feeling that I'm still not doing enough.

It is taking me longer than expected to get these accounts done, and he's just decided to claim for a home office, which means more work (and money) for me. I still haven't finished my own budget, or sorted my own paperwork, or started working out again, so I keep looking at list of goals and beating myself over the head with it. Ridiculous I know, but very hard to stop.

    Enough moaning, totals so far.

Thanks apple muncher I'll be off the buy the Mirror tomorrow :) Mîssed the voucher last month and was really miffed.

Finally managed another SFD today :) This month has been a nightmare moneywise so looking forward to payday on Friday and fresh harsh budgets. I can't afford anything after my overspends this month so budgets are going to be minimalised and the answer to every invitation is going to be no (just realised that I sound like I'm really socially busy but I promise I'm not!)

Did tutoring today so going to bank that tomorrow so it's out of temptations way :)

Hope you've all had a lovely day
