I'll join you crazy lady and NSK. After losing 16lbs in the first 8 weeks of the year, I have lost nothing since and have now put 2lbs on. My positive mental attitude has vanished, I am sluggish and my grasp on spending and debt busting has fallen by the wayside. I need a kick up the backside and some sense of accountability.
In raindrop news, I spent on more food and some DIY bits today, nothing essential, all frivolous

Yes although for me I need to be exact so perhaps a precise date to start and an exact date to finish
... perhaps we need to tally up body measurements as well...?
I am happy to share this with you guys...
My motorbike gear is getting to tight as well. Frightening. The stairs at my local train station nearly kill me every morning....
I am so disappointed in myself.“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Crazy_Lady - what date do you go away?
I propose that we start this tomorrow/today (being the 20th) and start with simple measurements, and making a plan of action...?
This then ends on the 26th.
Precisely 36 days. That could be 1lb a week each?
What do you say?
EDIT: just calculated my ideal BMI and weight. I should be 63KG. I am not 63KG. But I like 36 days translating into a reversed number for ideal weight? I have 3 stone to lose.“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. :easter:I'd like to join in too, please. I was going to make May my 'makeover' month - not beauty-wise, but body-wise: clean eating, exercising hard, relaxing and enjoying being alive.
Happy Easter everyone!

Great idea NSK! I did an online 'transformation contest' once and found it really motivating, knowing those pics would have to go up at the end and the shame if they were the same, or worse!!
Think I'll cheer you ladies from the sidelines this time, birthday and exams in May don't exactly lend themselves to weight loss!New graduate trying to get debt-free.

Morning
Yay, let's do this! The scales this morning say 9st 13lbs, my aim is to be no more than 9st, BMI says I should be no more than 8st 10lbs so I'm going to aim for that, 17lbs to go!
Definitely up for starting today, I've bought and ate loads of Easter eggs already! No need for more today. Let's see how much we can shift in the next 36 daysI'm going to aim for 7lbs which is 1lb a week plus the 2lbs I put back on since losing weight at the beginning of the year.
I'm going to use The Skinny Rules book as a guide and try and go to the gym everyday starting tomorrow (they've closed today!).

Morning all.
NSK - sorry to hear you are feeling down about your appearance. Mid January I decided to get my act together weight and fitness wise aswell as money wise, I wish I could bottle the way I feel now as I am so determined. I haven't followed a diet plan as that just doesn't work for me but I have stopped eating in the evening except once a week and even then I don't have much, all alcohol has been cut out, stopped eating biscuits during the day plus lots of other little things like that. Good luck to all you taking part.
Oh and meant to say those BMI things are a bit off in my opinion, I would look like death if I weighed what mine says.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Shopping and walking day yesterday: went into the wilds for a few charity shops and the easiest way to get from 1 set to another is to leg it... uphill and downhill then uphill again
