Evening all,
Yes SiannieLaz its the flylady thread and I am really enjoying it and it is definitely helping me get organised and the house get clean. Today I cleaned the landing window for the first time since moving into the house (nearly 4 years ago!!). It is frosted glass and I had never even thought about cleaning it as you can't tell its dirty but it was filthy!
Today has been a SFDThe new garage went up so I have spent the afternoon rebuilding the shelving units and moving all the garage items from the house back to the garage. I am loving having my house back
On annoying news, my dishwasher has decided to break again. It did this before and then started working 6 weeks later, I'm hoping the same happens again (fingers crossed!).
I'm going to town tomorrow with a friend. It will definitely be a spend day but hoping for it to be minimal. I need to pay for parking and lunch and we need one new dog bed (I must not buy a new bed for each of them, which I may have done in the past, to make it fair!!!)

Post daily: 16/30

Exercise: 11/20
SFD: 10/15
Travel (bus): £27.50/£40

Petrol: £35.28/£100
Misc spends: £99.05/£160
Another early post due to the continuing presence of Mama and Papa Mooo. I managed my SFD yesterday, and more than my normal exercise, so I'm delighted with that.
I'm definitely going to be over budget for bus travel this month, as there's 10 working days plus any weekend travel and I'll be spending at least £3 per day. I'm going to look into getting a bus pass this weekend - the initial direct debit cost is high but after that it's by far the most cost-effective option.0 -
Hope everyone's feeling better now. Not much to report - deep into revision mode, so have coloured pens, paper and books everywhere - however, at least it's a cheap activity. Got paid yesterday so my monthly overdraft payment has gone over today, so got to update my signature and best of all, move my DFD to september instead of december.
Now that pretty much all my bills have gone out for April, I'm going to try and have a very frugal month so that I avoid going into my overdraft on my current account and so that I can hopefully make an extra payment on my debt. I also need to ring Orange and find out why they've randomly charged me an extra £10 for broadband this month......Proud to be debt free September 2014. :j

:hello: Hello all!
I have worked out where I am in the month, although just realised I'd added two extra SFDs... oops! :rotfl:
Check ins - about 8. So 9 including today - going to adjust my target to 18 overall to give me an incentive to keep going!
Gym/exercise - 5/12. Think I can fit in (around hols and work travel) 3 more proper gym sessions, so I could do with some runs to make my target. Feel in need of yoga too, my neck and shoulders are massively tense at the moment.
SFDs - 6/15 . Might make this if I count all hols spending cash as "pre-spent". Need to think about this...
Budgets:
Groceries £36.61/£60
Petrol £71.07/£150
Toiletries £1.24/£5
Entertainment/miscellaneous £84.67/£200
£85.33 paid off the CCs (debts hummock and molehill) and £100 off the loan (debt hill). Looking into getting a new BT card to consolidate and have interest free period as molehill isn't interest free and hummock is ending interest free period in june. Then molehill can be closed and cut up as it isn't a good deal, hummock can be used for work expenses so they are separate, and a new landscape feature can account for my personal past overspending. Which will then be chipped away at. Feels like very small chips at the moment!“Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals.”

An SFD yesterday and gym booked for today and Friday; totals updated as I need to be at the gym in about an hour...‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

- save £25/£500
- 8/15 sfds
- groceries £45/£200
- 7/10 30 mins+ walks
I also intend to clear out the freezer, do more crafting and live a healthier life in April
Another SFD. Enjoyed a long walk with the dog last night. Tonight's tea is special fried rice (of sorts) so that's diced chicken, bacon lardons, prawns and chorizo out of the freezer - it's still fit to bursting but I can see spaces appearing finally. Must refrain from filling said spaces when I next go shopping.
Earlier in the month, we transferred all of our various savings into Hubby's 123 account as they pay 3% interest over a certain amount. £5 interest made already0 -
I'm having a bit of a nightmare at the moment. As many of you know I am in the process of losing weight and getting fit again (I used to be super fit - I was an aerobics instructor pre children and did loads of other exercise too) on Sunday I went for an epic bike ride and now have a bottom end problem which has resulted in a visit to the docs this morning and £8.05 on a prescription plus spends on Monday and Tuesday at the chemist.
The worst of it all is I can't ride my beloved bike, although I am still running despite the pain and discomfort.
SFD's have gone a bit awry so I will have a tally up later but think I may not reach my target, since I started this challenge in January I have always achieved my target or more so I am OK with that.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
