Have OVIVO gone bust?

Are you serious? The company probably knew the closure date a good few months ago they have been trying to get new customers knowing they will not be around. Even though I have received the sim and used the service I've raised a not received case with paypal and others should too. This is not the time to be ethical.0

Technically, isn't the £20 for the sim card? If you got it, then IMO you shouldn't claim back the money from PayPal.
No £5 was for the SIM
Other £15 was credit to pay in case of going over limits0 -
I have 3 separate OVIVO accounts on 3 separate email accounts (Mine plus 2 I managed for my parents) - I requested all 3 PAC codes last night, separately.
All 3, each received 2 emails with the PAC codes - one at 10:09 this morning and the other at 11:24. All 6 PAC codes were the same. The code (with 3 of the digits blanked out) were OVI*7*5*5
Anyone/everyone else been given the same PAC number?
Not that I can do anything with it until new sims arrive from Three (and I imagine they might have seen a small spike in their requests!!)0 -

So your saying its ok to commit fraud in these circumstances and are encouraging other people to do the same?0 -

Ethics have got nothing to do with it - FRAUD however is a different story.
If you've used the service - out of your £10/£15/£20 initial outlay (depending on when you joined), you'll probably have used half of the 'pro-rated' value. Is it really worth commiting fraud for the sake of a tenner?0 -

Although I have 2 identical PAC, they are not the same as yours...0 -

Sorry, but we don't need as yet unsupportable and possibly libellous allegations of fraudulent trading by the company adduced as tenuous justification for misinforming Paypal or other payment methods about what has happened.
If the SIM arrived and has been used for a while, then the claim is against the company or its administrator in due course.
Even if the tariff is notionally free, if you've used it you've had value from it.
If someone ordered yesterday and the SIM never arrives, that might be something to discuss with credit cards or Paypal0 -
moneysavingexpert (affiliate for Ovivo) has tweeted it is switching out of its sales role for a while and going into consumer rights mode and is working on an article informing customers of their rights.0

That's the same as me, 2 PAC both the same but not the same as yoursLife is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -

Ok, I have never used Ovivo, so didn't know that sorry.
Yes, I am sure they knew this was coming for a while; it can't be an overnight thing, and I understand the anger perfectly. I think they should have stopped selling sims a week at least before shutting down.
I am saying, even if only £5 was to cover the cost of the sim, you got your sim and money credited back into your Ovivo accounts... I don't see why PayPal should be out of pocket here, when what they cover is the purchase of goods, which were provided. Is it PayPal's fault that Ovivo went bust and can't provide you with a working signal to use the credit? I can see PayPal giving you back the money if you claim to have not received the goods, because, as I said, Ovivo won't prove to them they sent you anything.
I just meant that claiming the money back from PayPal or via chargeback with your card companies is unethical IMO, but I don't blame you for trying it
I think Ovivo should have given some notice to their customers.0
