people saying they are receiving OVI1111111 as pac code
6 digit code being their number. Can anyone confirm whether its first 6 numbers of the phone number or the last 6 numbers.
if this is the case I will call another network and change y number without waiting for pac code.

You'll still need OVIVO to input your PAC onto the system.

  • How have customers sold the deal by MSE got what they paid for?

    MSE have not sold anything.

MSE have advertised and people went to OVIVO to pay for that service.

As such, you do not have a claim against MSE.

No, mine aren't like this however I have just noticed that both PAC numbers they've given me are exactly the same so I'm not convinced they'll work

ETA: Just to confirm, the PAC code(s) I've been given are in the format OVI then 6 numbers but the numbers don't correspond with the phone numbers at all.

Agree and I apologise for any mistakes I post. However, it is not in our interests for too good to be true deals to be promoted given the scale on which MSE works with its access to the public through the media.

It is bad for all of us and if MSE does not pay there is no reason for it not to continue.

It makes money from its good deals, I have no problem with that and wish it well.

It MUST pay when it sells bad deals that are too good to be true, that with a little bit of consideration would be put to one side as too risky.

Have you watched the ITV clip? It's obvious no-one can explain a deal that was too good to be true

So if you had used Ovivo and recommended it to friends and family would you be refunded all of their money to them as well????

No, because I would not be recommending to make money.

There would be no transaction in my recommendation anywhere so consumer law would not apply.

MSE is a commercial service - it intends making money from deals that have an asterisk.

I should add that I would not recommend something that is obviously risky, I generally do not recommend especially to friends and family.

Where there is a commercial incentive, it changes people's actions in my view otherwise why offer the incentive?

Lots of Ovivo topics so I'll put this here.

Bought a Sim for the wife on march 13th. Not activated it yet. So as far as I am concerned it is money for a service I have not received (though thats just my opinion lol)

I paid using a credit card and have lodged a chargeback claim as it's under the £100 section 75 limit.

    never done a chargeback before

    What are my chances?

    Thanks

Is it in the correct format? I see on HUKD people are getting their mobile number sent as the PAC.

Yes, the email includes your mobile number as well as the PAC code using the format ABC123456

The code starts with the 3 lettres OVI

Edit; for clarification, the PAC digits are not a sequence of the mobile number.
