I think its a Mumford and sons type thing. Plenty of 'alternative' types round here started sporting a beard with their corduroys a little while ago, and so now ubiquitous.

My OH used to have one, but it was like a goatie beard.

Hated it, he looked like his evil twin.
  • I’ve got to admit I did notice an increase during Octobeard last year, but it isn’t something I am really noticing at the moment.

I love a beard, like to get my hands right in there! Keep trying to convince OH to grow one, but he can't be bothered to get past the itchy stage. I am dropping ohsosubtle hints about every bearded man I see now until he gives in!

Where does this 'itchy stage' come from? I've never experienced it.

I grew a beard for Bearded Theory. More to prove a point that I could grow one, but it made me look older than my age so after the festival it went.

I like men with beards that are well looked after.

    It'll be neck tattoos next.

Why would anyone want a tattoo of a neck?

Possibly because they haven't got a real neck.

A chubby colleague of mine has grown a goatee because he believes that it gives the illusion that he actually has a chin. It doesn't.
