Have you changed your statement setting to "paperless" yet?

This was arranged in branch during the application.

I've just checked on-line and it says that paper statements are not available for my account, but it gives me the chance to opt back to paper, or to order one paper statement if I want to.

I didn't have to wait for any activation code. Adviser set up user name, password, etc during application and told me that was it. When I got home I was able log in.

That sounds excellent service, and is similar to what happened when I first opened my Enhance accounts in Branch, as a new TSB customer.

Happened to me as well. Successfully went through the following day.

Second account opened fine for me this morning, thanks :)

Has anyone received a chequebook for their new TSB account yet?

Or do we have to request that separately?
    Or don't they provide one?

Seriously thinking of switching my Lloyds account (where they have just given notice to cut my interest rates by 1.5%, so credit balances of less than £1k will now earn no interest at all - wef July) to a new TSB account, and whilst I don't write many cheques nowadays, I do want a chequebook if I am to switch.

So no one has received a chequebook yet?

I've got two - and I didn't want either of them!

    One per account presumably?

Or do you mean two for the same account?
  • Are we limited to only two accounts?

I'm a bit pressed for time this morning. I'm assuming application for the 2nd will be like previous Lloyds/TSB/Halifax/etc applications & be unable to be done online (unlike the first) - and that the 2nd will have to be done over the phone?

I'd love to explain, but I'm a bit pressed for time myself just now.

You assume wrong, the majority on this thread simply opened the second account on-line using the same details they used for the first and the accounts were automatically linked ;)

No. Two personal accounts each and two joint.

We've now got six accounts between us - the two joint accounts were opened this week in branch.
