My husband and I have just got cards for the 2 accounts each we applied for a few days ago, can we definitely also have 2 joint accounts, would be great, will we get the 5% if all t&cs adhered to re £500 in etc. thanks for your help, much appreciated :)

If you see my two previous posts, you will see that I have had numerous telephone conversations with TSB Complaints Department regarding this. Several times I have been told that my wife and I can apply for joint accounts on-line and each time we have tried to do so there is no provision to enter a second name nor to indicate it is a joint account. I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that the staff at TSB have little if any idea how a joint account should be opened. I expect that I will not hear anything this side of Easter.

    Quick question,

Say if you have 2 accounts, can you bring in the £500 from an external account into Account A and then transfer internally to Account B?

I.e. Do internal transfers meet the £500 monthly funding?

As stated on their website joint accounts can only be opened or set up in branch. It needs both parties to attend.

How are people planning to make the most of the £2k limit for maximum interest when you need to put £500 a month into the a/c?

Do you open the account with £1,499 then pay your £500 in but then what?

thanks to all the advice I have had from this thread(thank you) I have opened two CP accounts and funded them both with£2000 and set up a standing order for £500 to go from one to the other on the same day...
I thought it was going to be difficult, but it wasn't in the end all thanks to the lovely peeps on here x
  • Hi folks. This is quite a long thread so apologies if this has been answered and I missed it. :)

I applied to open a Plus account last night. When I was setting up internet access I was invited to save my username on this computer so I ticked the "yes" box.

The username I chose contained upper and lower case letters but it seems to have been saved as all upper case. Is this normal?

    TIA

I know Lloyds has announced that Vantage rates are dropping to 1.5% soon but has TSB done the same?

Need to work out if it's worth applying for new TSB accounts for a relative, or to just convert their existing Enhance accounts.

No news on TSB Enhance but would not be surprised if they also face the axe. Why not make the best of Enhance while it is still on and you can continue with Plus if and when Enhance gets pulled?
