for 2 a/c's in your name, are people just going through the application process twice? i've got 1 a/c opened & have activated using the code received, looked for an option to open an additional a/c when logged on, but couldn't see one? do they get merged or are they completely separate?
thanks0 -
I just opened a second account from scratch and was pleasantly surprised when online banking merged the two seamlessly!
Cant say the same about the adviser who told me we were limited to two accounts each, with no joint accounts (see my much earlier post)
Going back to them now but would be REALLY grateful for as many people as possible to just post if they have three (or more) accounts and whether opened in branch or phone. Branch adviser still wont believe me!!!0 -

I had 3 Enhance accounts, ex Vantage, and I converted all 3 to the new plus accounts online. Received a confirmation letter for each account. All 3 accounts currently have a zero balance.0 -
Sorry to labour the point but were these all single accounts?
The Ts and Cs definitely limit you to TWO single a/cs, but my question revolves around whether you can have joint accounts as well as the two single ...0 -
You can have two single and two joint. Between a couple you can therefore have six accounts.0

And has anyone received a new 'Here is your new activation code' letter in the post, and the letter doesn't actually contain one. The space is blank.
I've already received a letter a week or so ago with the activation code in, and have long since inputted it.
Got one from Lloyds too, can't imagine I'm the only one.0 -

Yes, same here. Seemed a bit odd.0 -
Yes several of us have received these letters and a poster actually rang them and was told to ignore the letter as it was sent out in error, if the account is operating okay.
Mine was only from TSB"Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0 -
