If the blue looks ok in context of the row, why not have a picture of the row? One of the things I always do when assessing whether to see a house is to check the street out on Streetview and I can't work out how to get Streetview to show your road.

to hget more views, may be worth adding a link to twitter / facebook / linkedin, instagram, with appropriate tags (#house #forsale etc)

main outside view is not the most flattering shot, and the wallpaper is a bit garish I must say!

maybe worth a quick strip and repaint, in calmer colours? and hide those mirrors!
Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..

Dare I ask what's with the mirrors?? Is it really worth me taking them down?

It all looks quite nice to me - very clean and tidy and new looking - maybe a little bit too show homey? A bit more character to make it look a bit more like a family home - for me, a few more pictures would do it, but perhaps that's personal taste. The back garden could do with some colour and a mow! I like the wood effect on the front. Also 3 weeks and 3 viewings doesn't sound too bad to me, but houses round where I live tend to take a while to sell - 4 to 5 months isn't unusual -maybe it isn't like that in your
area. What is the competition like??

I agree that the grass needs cutting but the ground is still a little too wet following all of the rain. If it stays dry I'll be out at the weekend giving it a good mow and I'll make sure to update the Rightmove photo.

I'll see what I can do about adding a few more personal items, I went a little mad on the de-cluttering and have put them all in storage.

24 hours after updating the photos we have another viewing so fingers crossed..
  • Seems to me you've moved real fast on some of the advice on here.

    This is my tupenceworth;
Like the agents outside view photo although would ask neighbour to move car as well, and you are already getting flowers

I would lose the mirrors - sorry - hate them against your wallpaper, much better on a plain wall - but just my HO

Take a photo showing end of living room through patio doors with your garden furniture set up, giving viewers impression how nice it would be in summer to have them open and wonder out into garden.

Photo 7 would definately be better with a dining table set up.

Photo 11 - is this the en-suite or bathroom, much as I love your vase at the window I had to do a retake 3 times before I realised that's what it was - I thought the image was actually outside the window and was part of a building very close to your window - please look again and see if you know what I'm talking about. Do love the vase, though.

The grass needs cut - but circumstances

Only see 2 bedrooms although mentions 4,
quick trick to make it into another bedroom is to get boxes (this eay you can make it slightly smaller than the standard double bed) about the height of a bed put them together and put a valance sheet on and cover with quilt and cover
hey presto looks like another bedroom come study - just remember not to sit on it. LOL

All in all have to give you great credit the way you have taken most of the advice on board - Well done and Good Luck with the sale.:T
Looking forward to the day I have nothing left to list on eBay

Thanks Goodmorningsunshine. Mirrors were a present from
DH and he put them up as a surprise, even for the sale of the house he'll draw the line at removing them. Plus, if he thinks I'm not sure about his taste he'll stop buying me presents ;-)

Great idea about the boxes, I once tried blow up mattresses when. I was distance selling a house and every time I visited they were in a heap on the floors!

Ooh... 7 is the other end of the kitchen is it? That took me ages to realise. I thought it was one of the missing bedrooms. I'd drop photo 2. 3 and 4 are nicer and enough. Plus one picture of each bedroom, rather than multiples of one. I agree a lovely shot of the french doors open onto the sunlit garden would be nice.
Is it possible to get a photo of the garden without it being half in shade?

But overall looks nice. Can't comment on the price as I don't know the area.

3 viewings in 3 weeks? That's not bad. Stick in there.
