Rightmove - House appearing in searches but not being looked at

Hello everyone...
We have had our house on Rightmove for 3 weeks and have had 3 viewings woth no offers. I asked the EA for the Rightmove stats and they mad interesting reading. Whilst our house has appeared on Searches 8000 times, the details have only been viewed 200 times. This leads me to believe that th main photo of our house just isn't up to scratch and is putting people off. We have attempted to address the poor internal shots ourselves this weekend and have retaken them using a better camera, better lighting and more staging but I don't know what to do about the external shot. It's a new build with a half wooden fascia and out of context from the row of houses I admit myself that it looks a little odd.
Here's the rightmove link:

I thought maybe something like this might be worth trying:

I spoke to a family member who said that she would never look at any house that looked mouldy (salt coming out of bricks, bottom left) and nor would she look at any house that didn't have flowers at the front - easily remedied but a little bit odd in my opinion.
Any help or advice would be gratefully received

No offence but for me it's the blue of the wooden fascia!
Are you allowed to change it? Paint it white?
Only other suggestion is to put one of the other photos as the main picture.0 -
I agree with your family member I'd get the efflorescence cleaned off, it does make it look like there could be a damp issue/water running down the wall from the gutter etc (you might know differently, but many potential buyers won't).
Also, is there a garden? It says there is in the particulars. I'd want to see a picture of the outside back space if I was looking at a family home (which is what this is).
I also agree that a bit of context with the row of houses helps!

Anyone who is allergic to, or doesn't like cats, will immediately be put off by picture No. 6. I'm allergic to cats and dogs, and wouldn't go near a house that had either.
Maybe anyone who's not British through and through is recoiling at the jingo-istic sofa in picture 4 ... ?
That's a florid display of efflorescence on your brick, make no mistake..... it has to be said, the current primary photo, even with the front of the house in shadow, is preferable to showing off the efflorescence in all its glory.....
All the woodwork says to me is "high maintenance" .... regardless of the colour.0 -
This isn't far from me, interesting.
I would suggest pulling up the blinds for photos and viewings, looks a bit dark in there.0 -
Even just trying to get a photo of it with the sun shining on it a bit more might make a difference. I've been looking at property histories on Zoopla trying to get more detail on places I'm interested in, and it's really surprising, when you compare 2 external photos of the same place, how much difference sunlight makes as to how it looks. Also maybe opt for a straight-on shot rather than one angled slightly from the side. People are supposed to be subconsciously attracted to symmetry.
Also, it isn't exactly in answer to your question, as this would apply after someone has clicked into the details, but I would change the order of the internal photographs. The shot of the lounge where you can see through into the garden is really appealing, but the photo of the small room with the sofa and tv comes up first and I immediately thought 'is that the lounge? it's really small'. As someone who's hunting at the moment, I would rather know about the spacious lounge and french windows into the garden first, then the big bedrooms as these would be what made me make a decision about whether this was worth a view.0 -
The house has four bedrooms, yet the only pictures show rooms filled with bed/s. You need to use a wide angle lens to show the space. No pictures of the garden at all. Why do estate agents take such rubbish photos? As I have said on other similar threads get a volunteer from your local camera club to come and take some pics, they will do a much better job.0

There are a few things that can be improved
1) The exterior shot, clean the salt off the wall and take from much further back. It looks like there could be a nice tree/open space to the side. Also the big dark cloud doesn't help.
2) Internally, move the cat out of the shot
3) Take the stag head picture down from the bedroom
4) Take a garden shot, looks like you have a nice patio set, should show it off.
5) Move the Porsche off the driveway, it makes it look like a small space to park the second car.
Hope this helps.0 -
Thanks so much for your responses. I can't do anything about the blue so all I can try to do is minimise the brightness of it. I'll see what I can do about getting the bricks cleaned up in order to lose the salt. Perhaps the agent could mention that the 'cladding' isn't wood but is in fact low maintenance boarding (I'll dig out the full details).
The cat issue had occurred to me so I have also retaken the living room shots without Herbert:

I have also replaced picture 4 with:
