I've got to say, your photos are much nicer than the estate agent photos. Makes you wonder what you pay them so much for!"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0

The only thing which would put me off is that most of the rooms have one wall of wallpaper - would make me think that I'd have to redecorate nearly every room.
Apart from that I think your other pictures are a vast improvement.
 And I like Herbert.0

your pictures are so much better..
It may be overpriced? or your agents might be rubbish (Have you had a freind ring for a viewing?)0

And yes, art deco, I love it... with a bit of 50s kitsch thrown in for good measure!
Once this house sells I have my fingers crossed that an arts and crafts house that I have my eye on will still be available...
Much better pictures (and a nice boost for your Rightmove visitor stats ). ).
Hope you manage to get the place you're after; but remember, if you miss one there's always another.Mornië utulië0

Oooh, you're making me envious now OP - our last house was an original Tudor that had been dismantled, moved to a new location then given Arts & Crafts additions......shame it was in a less than perfect location so we sold up. We adore A&C, most of our *stuff* is that period GL with your sale and hope that A&C house waits for you..... GL with your sale and hope that A&C house waits for you.....
I like Herbert too, btw!Mortgage-free for fourteen years!
 Over £40,000 mis-sold PPI reclaimed0

            "...only been viewed 200 times..."
Did your estate agent tell you that they would have expected more based on other properties that they market, or is that your opinion? That sort of click through rate is fairly good for the internet in general. Think about how people use Rightmove: they frequently search over and over again for their area of interest to look at newly available houses, those 8000 searches could be from just 1000 people, or maybe even less! I know that in the last month I have seen the first page of the search results for my local area over 15 times.0

Serious problem with the agents, no plans, no garden pics and no bathroom pics, get rid and use your own pics, you are better at doing itBlackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0

Hi. We've now added our own photos with the exception of the front view as we're waiting for a bluer sky..
The number of conversions from search appearances to the details being looked at is low based on the Agents average conversion rate of 4.9%.
I've bought some planters for the front which I'm filling with flowers in the hope of making the house look less 'ugly'.0

I know nothing about the South East of England and Burgess Hill is like abroad to me but I do like the interior of your house. Not keen on the blue wooden fascia though. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Hi there the blue wooden fascia is a reminder to double check what you're getting when you buy off plan :-) It's actually more grey than blue but not really sure if that's any better. In the context of the whole row of houses, all with slightly different weather boarded fascias it doesn't look too bad0
