Rightmove - House appearing in searches but not being looked at

I'd be worried about the efflorescence so cleaning it off would be good. All the exteriors look way better, the blue/grey now looks secuctively attractive instead of off putting.
I do wonder though what you are paying an estate agent for, since you seem to be doing all the work.0 -
I know this area well - just round the corner from my sister in law. Its a nice neighbourhood and you have a lovely house. My thoughts are:
Having watched too many Phil Spencer/Sarah Beeny programmes about selling properties that are sticking they always make a point about not going too far with the decluttering. A few magazines, books etc would make it look more friendly. The bedrooms in particular look like a Premier Inn (which I stay in for business!). Something on the bedside tables etc would really help. For me the main issue is the estate agents copy - its very odd, the focus on the newness and builder! Surely the main thing is the location - within walking distance of Wivelsfield Station so an easy commute to London or Brighton and the generous living room and kitchen diner etc. Dont panic though, you bought the house and loved it and so will someone else. Good luck!0 -
Thanks, Campervanman. My DH completely rewrote the copy this evening so we're hoping to get it uploaded by the EA on Monday. You're right about taking the de-cluttering too far.. I'll add a few more homely bits for the viewings but I think we're all photo'd out now!
That said.. Lawn is now cut and we've added some more pots of flowers to the garden so maybe tomorrow I'll get the camera out :-)0 -
Love the new copy - so much better. Hope it gets the purchasers beating a path to your door!0
