You should ask for a refund on postage because you're entitled to a full refund when sending an item back.0 -

Why?
You are returning it. What you paid for original postage is now irrelevant. You will get your original payment back, that includes any P&P you paid.
Don't complicate matters.0 -
Do keep us posted, OP, as I also think washing the bag is going to negatively impact on your case.0

What of I said to her I will keep the bag but she returns postage costs as she dropped it off and didn't send it?0

What if you said that to her?
A seller can chose to give a partial refund or not.
I never give partials. If the item is not acceptable to you, it isn't acceptable.
I fail to see how a reduction off the postage will remove the marks you found severe enough to post on a forum about.0 -
Because she has already told me she is only just going to refund the bag not postage. It's going to cost me 3 or 4 pounds to send the thing back0

Which is why I suggested an item not received claim!!Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0

Ask the seller if they will refund postage as well due it not being as described. If they refuse just escalate the case as soon as you can.
You don't need to give any other reasons or to keep asking. Chances are the seller would argue it cost them something to drop it off and the postage covers that (whether that paying for tbe time it took them, packaging, petrol etc) even if all they did was grab the item and walk down the street to you.
Just ask once if they'll refund the full amount as the item is not as described and see what they say.0 -

For the third time on this thread.....I shall say again....your FULL original payment will be refunded, she has NO choice in that when you escalate a case.
I am not sure where you either keep reading to the contrary or missing my explicit responses.
The return postage is YOUR responsibility. But IF you RING eBay, they MAY give you reimbursement.
I cannot be any clearer and I am tiring of your lack of grasping this information, it's repetitive for all.0 -

Why would you suggest the OP commits fraud?
Did you forget the OP has received the item, washed it and complained to the seller?
Stop pedalling dreadful advice.0
