I have already said they will deem the contract to be void.We all know you don't like Orange, EE and whoever else but this doesn't mean everything you say about them is correct.I can categorically tell you that they would never try and force someone to pay for a contract that isn't valid.0

I have neither said no implied that you ignored.Nowhere have I blamed Orange for anything in this thread.
Blame the OP for lying then, not me for disliking Orange allegedly.
I have already said OP is either lying or has misunderstood.
It seems you did imply that I had ignored that they could not make someone else pay - however I apologise if I mis interpreted that.
Also, I didn't say you blamed them however you are very keen to argu with what I have said about them, thus giving the impression you are inclined to believe what OP said when I have already said it is untrue. Or misunderstood.0 -
i'm not lying.
can people really not get along?0 -

Well, it's not what you said earlier.
Of course, someone has to pay if the contract continues.
It's not the same as "try to get him to pay".0 -
they told him over the phone if he wants the contract counciled he has to pay for it(hes not part of the contract)
This confirms that you probably misunderstood. IF he transferred it into his name and wanted it cancelled THEN he would have to pay to cancel but he can not even REQUEST the cancellation of a contract he is not party to, legitimate or not so I still maintain my view.
If the request to cancel was done BEFORE the fraud team have confirmed the contract is void (which based on the fact you haven't heard from them is likely), then they would still deem the contract to be ongoing and any early termination fees would be applicable. This is possibly what you have been quoted.
They will not cancel the contract until the received the relevant proofs that your sister is not over 18!0 -
