So be careful what you say, who you pick on and all that.
I would keep your concerns private, to the MSE team. I really think it's inappropriate. To start posting details of how you found her and where. Things like location, other postings, purchases and that kind of thing. It may not even be the same person. Which is then a real issue if you are linking people into this who are not involved. Publicly. Pm'ing names and things. It's all a bit too far.
I don't see how posting a lot of what has been found will help op, if it is her. Should have been kept private to MSE admin. It will make her even less reluctant to come back if it is her.
As it will just encourage other people to maybe do the same thing, who hadn't considered it, just to be nosey, and they may not have the good intentions you all do.
I know you are concerned but a line has been crossed here, it's all a bit stalkerish. If your intentions were good, then PM the details to admin. I really don't see the need to be posting it all on here, making it harder her for her to come back. Pm'ing each other her real name. Why? Send it to admin. I'm sure if she is feeling like crap, feeling everyone is gossiping about her, and hunting down all her net history is really going to make her feel better.
If you're THAT concerned someone is about to kill themselves and you think you've tracked them down or are risk from a violent partner. Take your information and concerns to the police. Don't post it all on here, saying what you've dug up on her, airing dirty laundry for her, or wait for MSE to get back. IF indeed you have "found her". Or try and get her number form directory inquiries! Seriously! You could be anyone, it may frighten her, if people manage to get hold of her in real life. If it was a huge major concern, you'd report it to the police.
Hi Tink,
I put my hands up, you're absolutely right - good intention got in the way of good judgement.

Just to say thanks to the person who was concerned about the OP and contacted us to let us know about their last post. We've removed it, PM'd to check she's OK and suggested she see a professional.
Can we also remind you not to post anyone's personal details on the Forum.
Thanks!Could you do with a Money Makeover?
