Benjamin Logan was born today at 12.03pm after an 8 hour active labour and 30 minutes pushing. I was 7cm dilated when I got to the hospital as my hypnobirthing helped with the early breathing. I had an epidural at around 6am as I was no longer able to cope with the contractions and although it worked evenly at first, it stopped working on my left side so I felt this until the end. It did help with the pushing stage though as I had to have less guidance. He weighed 7lb 4oz

Aww, congrats Mouse! Just popped on to see if there was any news from you! Hope you're both doing well. Has big brother met Benjamin yet?

Yes he's very much the proud big brother - he's even had skin-to-skin with him this afternoon as we were released from hospital today.

Hey everyone!

I'm jumping in here for the first time...got my bfp yesterday.

It's our first, and we've been trying for nearly four years. I completely gave up tracking my cycle in November, as was resigned to the fact we'd have to start saving for ivf. I started feeling really tired over the last couple of weeks and even though I'm very irregular, knew I was late.

We can't quite believe it. I know I need to book in with my gp but that's as far as I've thought ahead right now. It's all a bit surreal, tbh!
