Hello ladies,
I am 25+3 so thought it was about time I posted on here! Although I'm not sure how ready I am for the 'big' thread. We're expecting a little boy with due date 20th May. Have been feeling ok, but then was randomly sick this morning- not impressed! Have seen midwife today and bump growth is on track and everything looked OK.
We have nct classes booked in March. Also going to book into the NHS tour of the unit.
We have also yet to buy anything for this baby! We're going to a Mothercare evening in a couple of weeks, so hopefully that will help. I've looked online at the Mothercare journey travel system, has anyone had a look at it?
Hope everyone else is doing okhope something happens for you soon Sexymouse!

Good morning all!
Welcome to the thread penguingirl - I've added you into the due date list. It's getting a little longer now which is nice to see.
Nothing happening here for me yet, though I was having dreams all night last night about my waters breaking, so was a little concerned I was going to wake up in a puddle, or that they'd break when I got up to go to the loo this morning. My waters never broke with my son, but I know that every pregnancy is different. I'm tempted to sleep on top of a towel just in case, though we do have a mattress protector on the bed too.
Hope everyone else is well?

Towel a good idea sexymouse, wish we'd done that, would have saved me having to try and sort out a soggy bed late the following evening after the birth!Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)

Thanks Freddie - hope you and your family are well too? x
Glad you've got your hospital bag started cats. I had to check DH's bag the other day to see what he'd packed. He's packed himself a pair of pyjamas! lol I had to tell him that he probably wouldn't need them.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
I used puppy training pads on our mattress as it was a new bed and I was terrified about ruining it!
Still checking back here regularly for updates from you all! Good luck to those due soon.0 -
I managed to convince my 4-year-old to have a nap with me this afternoon as he was tired. I told him I was putting a towel in the bed in case my waters broke while I was sleeping (I've explained that Bungee is in a bag of water in my tummy and that when it's time for him to come out, it will burst to let him come out). He insisted on getting his towel to sleep on too for his waters. Lol After getting fed up with him fidgeting in our bed, he took his towel, muslin and water beaker into his bed and has been sleeping since.
Need to wake him up so he'll sleep tonight, but at least we've both had a good rest.
