My hospital list is ridiculously long!!! I've got a hand luggage rolling suitcase for me and a big changing bag for baby. Plus I'm taking a pillow and my birthing ball (they have them at the hospital but said there may not be enough if they're really busy so if you have one to bring it.)
also the midwife said they only have small towels, so if you like to wrap up in a big towel after a shower, take one! I'm taking a towel and a hair turban for that reason.
BTW: I'm STILL here and still pregnant!!! Induction booked tomorrow, but I have to phone at 8am to see if they can fit me in. I hope they can, I'm sooooo past being pregnant now, and even hubby is getting grumpy and impatient!First date 10.2.2002

Sorry about that - all changed.
Since Mid day I have been sat on the sofa, double doors open onto the garden listening to my little boy making a den at the back of the garden whilst I study. I have managed to write all of the essay but I am 500 words over
I have a table in the essay and I can't find anywhere in the guidelines that says whether it is part of the wordcount! That would bring it down by 250!
I have been thinking about my hospital bag.....I am going to do it the end of this month. Along with buying a large amount of baby bits!
We are just going for a dog walk, I will be sporting a waddle :rotfl:3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

I'm bringing a towel too for similar reasons. And I just feel like the less stuff you need to ask a midwife for the better, I don't want to say be hunting about for a towel so I can have a shower.
I know they have birthing balls at my hospital though so luckily no need to bring that. Apparently one woman did & her hubby accidentally let go of it and it was rolling away down the corridor as there's one bit near the entrance where the floor is a slope lol!0 -

For my uni course titles, tables etc were not included as part of the word count. Hope that helps.

Samtoby I'm fairly sure a table wouldn't be part of the word count
Emz I was hoping maybe you had some progress as we hadn't seen you in a couple of days. I hope the induction goes well tomorrow and that they're able to fit you in, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you that you're not waiting to meet baby for much longer now!!Our first baby due 25th May 2014 :T

Thanks ladies.... I can't believe it either! 11 days!!! But my original date was 3rd March, so it may "only" be 6. Either way it's tooooo long!!!
I've just emptied and repacked the hospital bags, and been through the nursery drawers with hubby so he knows what is where when I give him a list of extra clothes etc we need (If we do need any). I've also discovered that he hasn't listened to a word I've said for 9 months when he said "What's the difference between a sleepsuit and a vest then?" and looked totally and utterly bemused! Honestly, he's got a VERY sharp learning curve ahead of him, bless!First date 10.2.2002

Best of luck tomorrow, Emz...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
