We have our second 4D scan tonight, hopefully baby will be in a better position!
I might be crazy, but I have just booked train tickets from Essex to Scotland when I'm 38 weeks pregnant for a friends wedding. DH didn't want to go without me (although I would have made him!) and I do love a wedding... it's going to be interesting I think!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Crazy cat lady your lazy day doesn't sound very lazy to me!
Hope you managed to sort out the brick laters Freddie.
Glad the hair cut made you feel a bit better thinkpink. I haven't noticed my hair being thicker, but it's never been particularly thick. Just very straight and soft, as every hair dresser likes to say to me!
Jtr that sounds like a lovely day!
Hope the baby plays ball pyschopathbabble.
Managed to sleep a bit better last night. Though I stayed up later than I wanted watching the diving. I managed to drop my bottle of gaviscon on the floor this morning and it smashed so that was fun to clean up
I'm looking after my nephew today (he's 5) and he sang twinkle twinkle little star to the baby this morning :rotfl: , so that cheered me up!0 -
Back from Ikea and baby has a wardrobe and another unit which is the same height and size as the wardrobe but will have some small doors at the top then some exposed shelves then two large drawers. Also got oh a new wardrobe which is smaller than what he has at the n moment which will give us more space in our room.
Has anyone else found they walk into more things at the moment? I've stubbed my little toe so much in the last week that when I did it just now I've knocked the toenail off!! Not happy!!
Hope you've had a lovely day with your nephew just me. And hope baby cooperates at the scan today psycho.
Hope you are home and baby is settling for n well flutter.0 -
Thankfully I haven't. I'm clumsy enough on a general day to day business without it getting any worse. It's supposed to be due to the extra weight and shifts in your gravity. So you won't be the only one! For me it's the forgetfulness and mixing up names and words that I can't stand. That seems to have hit me instead of the clumsy streak.Book a week challenge: 11/52. Yep I keep banging into things - did myself a mischief getting out of the passenger side of a car this morning and managed to scrape my knee through my leggings! It's dangerous being so round and unbalanced! :rotfl:0

I always used to bump into door frames and car mirrors with my bump lol.
We didn't have a great night last night. Lenny would not feed properly not settle. I was up til 3am trying everything, woke oh up to help. He held baby whilst I tried to relax as was worked up as he had barely had more than two sucks since 8pm. He eventually had a 5min feed at 4am then slept til 7.30, another 5min feed then slept til 10am.
MW came today to weigh him and she was a bf specialist and she was brilliant. My boobs are big and my nipple are small so she suggested nipple Shields. I had a pair here so tried them and my God an instant fix! Lenny has nursed most of day, my milk has come thru too
Off out shortly to buy a pump and some other bits, then my parents are coming over tonight. Hopefully we'll have a better night tonight now.* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

Hope you do get a better night Flutterby
Midwife appointment today OH's last blood test shows that she has low platelets. Not dangerously low at the moment but below normal levels (150-400) hers was 128.
So they'll do another blood test at the next appointment.
Baby also measured small - still within the bands on her notes, but far lower than he should be based on the previous measurement. Just looking at the chart makes it look like he's barely grown at all in a month. But I think it's more likely that the first reading was inaccurate as it charted him as above average size.
Anyway again they'll be keeping an eye on that see what it's like in two weeks time.
So not bad enough to act upon immediately but enough to get OH feeling worriedMortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)

I hope OH's platelets come up for her next test. Was the measurement based on her bump size?
I've got the urge to tidy up and exercise at the moment. I've started washing some of the baby clothes bundles we bought and thinking about what to pack in my hospital bag. I've only bought some disposable maternity knickers from Asda on recommendation so far.
I'm starting to have to take notice of how small parking spaces are now to make sure I can get out of the door :rotfl:0 -
Yes it was the fundal height measurement - which I know isn't very accurate anyway.
She's made a list of things for her hospital bag - based on online lists like babycentre. It looks more like three suitcases worth of stuff!Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)

Hopefully baby will measure ok in two weeks time Freddie. Was it the same person who measured bump both times?
My bump measures right each time but a few people have commented that they don't think my bump is that big (I think as I'm so short people thought i would be a lot bigger), but all seems ok according to scans and midwife.
I can't believe how excited I am that we are putting furniture together today!!! It will mean though that we can find homes for all baby's stuff.
Beckyy- I'm the same, when I was at work I would park next to someone parked close to the line so then I had an excuse to then be crossing over into a second space (work car park with enough spaces to get away with it). I've also realised I'm going to have to drive into spaces once baby is here which I hate doing and always reverse in!! Either that or I'll just park further away in an end space or reverse in where there is a walk way so I can get to the boot!!!
Flutter- my friend swore by nipple shields and said there's no way she could have bf her first without them. She didn't use them with her second and said her first took to a bottle much easier than her second child.0
